    baccalaureate equivalency table from CNO

if i remember correctly, the CNO will only send the verification forms after you send in your application forms, payment, and the school documents with course description. like they said above, it is better you work on it asap while you're still in Philippines. That way it's easier and faster to comply the needed documents (PRC and employer and additional infos if required). God bless!

i can't quite tell since they respond to emails faster now than during my initial application. and it was my friend who called them up and the package arrived (by email) in less than a week. if i'm not wrong, they'll send it via email more or less two weeks after the receipt of your request. just give it a few weeks. you can call them too.

  4. oh, I see. so they basically filter applicant they grant certificates to? am I correct? thank you for giving me an idea dishes.
  5. hello silverdragon, i've finally received my immigrant visa a couple days ago. i am still in the process of finishing my BET forms and also have decided to move to Canada in mid July. i understand it might take a while before I will earn my nursing license in Canada, especially that i still have to prepare for the exam (if i will be given an eligibility after the BET). I am trying to look for jobs online and I would like to work as a PCW in Toronto. that way, i will earn more than just minimum wage so i can support myself better (I'm moving alone, with no family in the province, and obviously no job waiting for me). and also the advantage of still working in the medical field which would benefit me for my experience prior to becoming a RN in Canada. before i read your post here, i was wondering if i have to earn a certain certificate before i can work as a PCW/PSW Toronto. how do i do this? what other healthcare jobs can you suggest that i can apply for that won't require me to go through trainings or additional courses as a temporary job while i work for my RN license? are there any other jobs (not necessarily health care related) that you can advise i start with for my survival in Toronto? thank you very much.

i know.. the sooner i finish and mail it to them, the better. things have been pretty hectic for the past month and i couldn't concentrate on it. and i don't wanna blow my chances just by doing it fast and not giving it my all. probably one of the reasons why i can't seem to finish it. hehehe! i'm starting to get stressed out especially i'm still waiting for the visa to arrive. it should arrive this month. it's validity is only up to September 17,2011 and up to now it's still not in my hands. i can't move forward. i just hope that my application would go smooth after i submit my BET... and i mean not having to do bridging program. coz if i do, i might as well start applying for RPN now and not waste any more time. but then there's no way of finding out now. argh! decisions, decision, decisions by the way, how long does it take for CNO to get back with a decisions after submitting and paying for the RPN application? considering that they already have all the documents they'll need from me from my RN application... thank you!

    RPN Wages in Ontario

i'm a RN here in Philippines. I am still in process of getting registered as RN in Ontario. I'm still trying to work on the BET forms. It might be a while until i get my eligibility for CRNE. i have so much to take care of since i'll be leaving for Canada alone in June or July, no relatives in Ontario, no job waiting.. etc. so, i'm struggling whether i should apply for RPN while waiting to get registered as RN, or just go for PSW. what do i have to do to be a PSW in Ontario? do i have to go through trainings/courses and earn certifications? how much would it cost? what are the requirements? i hope someone can enlighten me with this option. thank you very much.

hello. i'm just wondering, how would you know who your assessor is? i have sent my application from and other documents needed to CNO since January 2011. i have received the BET forms but haven't finished filling it up yet. however, i have sent my IELTS result, school records, registration verification and am about to mail the employer's verification too. i always call CNO whenever i need information and it's always a different person. i'm not sure if i am on the stage where i should have an assessor already. do they start updating you after you've completed the necessary documents and just waiting for eligibility or notification to undergo bridging program? thank you!
  13. they'll use the documents you sent with your RN application. you just need to fill out the RPN application form and pay for the RPN assessment fee.
  14. hehehe yeah but i'm glad i found this thread now. i was even wondering if you'd still respond. thanks!

    Pinoy care visa center

@ Fiona59: (that's all i can say hehe) I have made my complaints to them before. What they did was they even raised their voice at me like I was an irritant to them. There really is no point. Most likely to happen voicing complaints to them is for them to just say they will look on it, try and do something about it, bla bla bla. So far, the only things that changed are their tactics. before, they offered half a million for the settlement fund. Now, it's 1 million. Not that the required amount for one applicant is 1 million. This site/thread is serving its purpose of giving information to people who needs it. Pinoycare continues to do what they always do. concerned citizens do what they can in here too.
