the idea and prepare for it..please..i need help on this.thank you.
here's my email add:
and also, are they really strict with their required ielts score?
thank you so much for your response guys..
Hello jijitipie, i think one of ways to know if they receive your papers is calling their number posted in their website.. They will just ask you some information such as date of graduation, name etc.
I also submitted my BET and other documents this october, still waiting for a reply.. good luck in you application.
Just so you know, Ontario's registration year ends December 31 so the CNO has been swamped with registration renewals for approximately 155 THOUSAND members. Their purpose is not solely to assess applications from outside the country; their first duty is to the members they already have, their second to the people of Ontario, and if there's time and energy left, then to the rest of the world. You will have to be patient; the process takes anywhere from several months to more than a year.
Oh and yes, they are extremely strict on the IELTS score. If you cannot communicate in English, both verbally and in writing, you will not be a safe nurse in Canada.
hi pickles27
can you please send me a copy of your BET accomplishment form ? so that i could have an idea and prepare
for it as early as possible..thank you..
and do you have the number of CNO? my relatives stay in ontario so i might just ask them to do the call for me..
hi janfrn
thanks for the information ..
Try reading the following from CNO:
http://www.cno.org/Global/docs/policy/IENexternalsummaryjan2308.pdf and
http://www.cno.org/Global/docs/policy/46010_PLAR.pdf
It's unlikely that anyone has a blank copy of their BET to send you, and they're well within their rights to be reluctant to let you see their completed copies. That's an unreasonable request, in my opinion. If you read through the two above documents you should have a very clear idea of the expectations of the CNO and you shoujld be able to figure out how you're going to stack up compared to a local new graduate.
For some idea of what the CNO will expect a baccalaureate to know, you can check the program overview and expected outcomes of an Ontario nursing degree program
