If you have a .edu email address you can get an Amazon Prime membership free for one year. It normaly costs $79 for a year! With Prime you get free 2-day shipping and can upgrade to overnight shipping for $4. You just have to give your .edu address and tell them your state and major. They send you a confirmation email and voila! You have free Prime!

Shoot, I go to MDC and my e-mail address is @mymdc.net, not .edu, and it won't let me register!

From what I understand, it must be an .edu address. I tried it with my CC email and it wouldn't work. When I tried it with my University address, it did.

It didn't work for me. The confirmation email Amazon sent to my student email address was completely blank. No text, no link or anything. So, I can't confirm.

I signed up, it only gave me an option to write my email address but not my major.,...do I have to call them or something, or do you get prime just by signing up with edu address?
