If you have a .edu email address you can get an Amazon Prime membership free for one year. It normaly costs $79 for a year! With Prime you get free 2-day shipping and can upgrade to overnight shipping for $4. You just have to give your .edu address and tell them your state and major. They send you a confirmation email and voila! You have free Prime!
Do you know how long this will last? I am already a Prime member so I already paid for my year. I wonder if they will give me a year extension on top of the one I already paid for?
I just signed up, and they refunded the portion for the months that I hadn't used. I LOVE Amazon! :redpinkhe
Exactly what is PRIME? I try to find textbooks on Ebay or hand me downs from previous students. Just want to know how this is better. I will be shopping for a new Davis Drug Guide for next year.
FREE 2 day shipping on products that are prime eligible and 3.99 shipping for products you want to receive in 1 day. Here is the amazon prime faq info:

I just want to say that I signed up for this and bought all my fall textbooks from Amazon through prime. I did compare with other textbook outlets and Amazon was in line with all of them, so for the sake of ease of use I used them for all of them.
From my school my textbooks would have cost me $1200, through Amazon about $850.
Done and done.
