ati RN comprehensive predictor 3.0

Oh this is good news. I take it on Tuesday afternoon. I took the practice RN comprehensive and got a 83%. It was 200 questions.

Just had that exam today

my score was 69.4 which equals a 98 per cent chance of passing the nclex if I toke it with no further prep..

Hi, could u please share how u studied for the ATI Comp predictor? What topics were emphasized in the exam & how did u go about reviewing for it. Please help. Desperate. My school requires a 75% to pass & graduate. It's a difficult time for me. Thanks.

I have to take the ATI comprehensive predictor too. I'm nervous because I don't feel very prepared. Congrats on your score though! That is awesome! :nuke:

I hear ya....my school uses HESI...but we're all freaking!

I've heard from our instructors, to take the online practice one, and then concentrated on the areas of improvement. :)

is 3.0 the latest version for 2008? how many versions are there?

Wow. How can anyone get a 93% on this? Do you have multiple attempts? IMO, the ATIs have many difficult questions. The comprehensive was 180 questions. I just did the practice exam that we had access to and read all the rationales (even the wrong answers) because the ATI likes to use the info from the incorrect answers and make them questions on the proctored exam. That's what I noticed, but it may be coincidence. I did not have time to review my other ATI study material from previous courses. I still received about a 73% which predicts that I have 99% probability of passing the Nclex. Also, I guess the instructors say that many students here feel the Nclex is easier than the ATI. I guess that just depends on each individual though.

All areas of nursing are included, the majority being med-surg, of course. Also, leadership/management and community health nursing is included as well. Do the practice test and focus on the areas the report says you need to improve on. Good Luck to all!

What I noticed is that ATI has alot of grey area answers, things that seem right but not quite. I have heard that using the ABC, maslow's, and erickson's priority method works better for nclex, not so much for ATI. ATI is like a regurgitation of facts. We have 3 chances and they are not going to be the same exam. The average is pretty high for the new ati exams. It is about 75%. Any other good study tips would be nice too! Thanks

Some schools are starting to receive the newer ATI Comprehensive Predictor based on the 2007 NCLEX-RN test plan. The older version 3.0 has been used for the last few years and may stay until next year for many schools. Both versions appear to be similar in difficulty (but there won't be any of those "select all" questions). It appears the only thing that has changed is the ATI composite score & nclex passing percentage table. I guess ATI had realized the new NCLEX is harder, therefore had to adjust their prediction numbers accordingly. Below is the scoring table for the older 3.0 version. If you need a 97%, you gotta have a composite score of at least 66%. Any score above 70 will yield a 99% chance of passing the NCLEX.
