Today has been a very devastating day. Early this morning on the way to clinical some of my fellow nursing classmates were killed in a car crash. There was an 7-8 car pile up, but only the nursing students were killed. There were 7 students all together, 5 killed, 2 critically injured. This deeply saddens me because this was their first semester in the program. It was also their last clinical of the semester. I do not know the 5 students personally but it hits so close to home. My nursing school is very small and we are all like family.
I am posting this to ask for condolences and prayers for the families of these students. Please do not hesitate to post. We would all appreciate it.

I was at the end of nursing school when one of our students died in a head-on collision weeks from graduation. It case a pall over the whole graduation ceremony and broke our hearts.
My heart goes out to the families and all of you. I am truly sorry.
My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your fellow classmates as well as their families. I don't even know them and my heart is sadden. It's so scary how one minute your with someone and the next it's like they just vanished into thin air. We must learn how to value and cherish each moment we have cause as we know it can be taken away that easily. I pray that the peace of god which surpasses all understanding cover you all in the mist of this tragedy. May God bless you keep your head up and continue going on with school in honor and memory of your fellow classmates!!:)
