Failing out.

Especially since I'm quitting my job so I can focus on school. If I fail out, it will have all been for nothing.

Well I have so many fear factors going on I'll just name my top 3 for the sake of everyone

1) Failure!! (Top one)

2) Not being able to pass my boards (because of amnesia..lol)

3) Not being able to find a job

Specializes in GI Surgery Step-down.

1. That I'll suck.

2. That I won't like it

3. Spiders...always spiders

Specializes in NICU.

Im afraid I have forgotten everything from my pre-req classes even thou I got good grades.

Im afraid I am going to do med calculation wrong or to slow.....

I start my BSN program Monday and I have no hospital experience and the nerves are really starting to set in. EEKK. Excited and nervous all at the same time.

Failure. Want if I don't meet patient expectations? I don't even know a specialty I would like to pursue. I am an "older" student with no medical experience. I don't want to fail my husband, children, or myself either.

Specializes in ICU.

failure

accidentally killing someone

not finding a job

Failing. Plain and simple. I am afraid of failing my family. Of failing as a wife because I am so busy with school. Of failing as a student. Of failing myself. But I wake up every day, put it out of my mind, and say "it's do or die". I will not give up!

I'm afraid that since I do not have (nor want) kids, I will not be taken seriously. Esp during any peds rotation or encounters in a future job.

I fear freezing up during simulation. We start simulation in 2 weeks and if you are chosen as primary nurse you are basically in charge. I dont know if i can handle that yet.
