Army nursing board met on Tuesday, Nov. 17th and I guess we should expect to hear from them today. Anyone else went up for the Nursing board and if so have you heard anything? I hope we all get accepted. I am excited and really want to go to OBLC in either the February or March class, if I am accepted, because I heard the summer's are brutal. I hope by the end of the day we will all have good news!!!

I was enlisted Army for just 3 years. I am applying for Air Force as a nurse now. If it is any consolation, we waiting for AF reply is just as frustrating and long a process! It is just the way the military works, I think. So I figure I just have to learn how to relax about it if it is the life I'm chosing. (this is easier said than done! lol)

Good luck!

Did you call your recruiter?

Nope. I will just wait for someone to call me. My recruiter retired about two weeks ago, so, I will wait for someone from the office to call me.

Specializes in ICU/Emergency Room.

Congrats, glad your wait is finally over.

Specializes in EMT, ER, Homehealth, OR.

Congrats to all. Peach, call the office do not wait until someone calls you because you might fall thru the cracks.

Did anybody else hear anything today? What are scrolls?

Scrolls are what they send to the Senate to approve your appointment & grade.

I got a call from my recruiter in the evening that I was selected by the board.
