Hey Hopeful, CONGRATS on your upcoming training. I will be in the July class. If I remember correctly, you are going to Ft. Stewart? How long are you assigned there? I'm going to Ft. Benning. I downloaded the Couch to 5K to my ipod touch, but haven't started it yet. I need to get started ASAP.

No help with the beret, but I do have a question. Is the Army providing your ticket to Ft. Sam or do you have to purchase it on your own then be reimbursed?

Does anyone know if we will receive separation pay while at OBLC if we have dependents? Thanks.

Hi, I am kinda in the same position as you. I received an email asking for my assignment choices, too. I have been a nurse for almost 4 years so my choices were a lot different. I wish I had chosen Germany as one of my choices. I was scared about going so far away, but as I think about it now, Germany would have been wonderful. Hopefully, we will all get into the July class!

I don't think I did a W-4. I did sign my contract and some student loan paperwork, but that was it. They didn't mention anything about direct deposit or anything with payroll.

You can ask your recruiter to sponsor it for you. It's not important right now, but I would definitely want to have it before OBLC.

It's an email account. There is no certain time to have it, I just thought it would be nice to have. I guess we have time since it may be a while before we leave.

I signed my contract too and the letter of intent. I heard they were not taking anymore, but I didn't know it would be that long.My recruiter still has to set up my AKO account.I really, really hope we go before July. Please, Please,Please! LOL! I will let you know if I hear anything
