April 2008 NCLEX test takers, COME ON IN!

Per the request of janina08 I've started the April NCLEX takers support group. When do you take it? What are you using to study? Would anyone like to review any of the systems/meds that he/she feels weakest on? Let's keep each other in our prayers and good thoughts as we go through one of the biggest experiences of our lives. :)

HI eVERYBODY!!!... OMG... I WOKE UP EARLY THIS MORNING... I FOUND OUT I PASSED!!!! I'M SOOO HAPPY....

4 CALCULATIONS ( which kept coming back to me coz i think i got it wrong... haha)

TONS OF PRIORITY QUESTIONS!

TONS OF SAFETY & INFECTION CONTROL!

SOME MEDS (most questions were about nursing teaching)

NO DELEGATION (don't remember having any)

so, ya mine shutdown at 75 and my last question was a priority question...

HI! Yes, he was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO happy.... A bit upset that I drove all the way to Alabama (3 hours away) to take the test without telling him... he said "anything could have happen to you"... WHICH IS TRUE! But he was SOOOOOOOOOOOO happy that I passed, so he cut me come slack! I am now apply to the state of Gerogia by endorsement! I am so happy! THANK GOD!

Thank you guys so much on this website for being so supportive. I turned to you guys when I felt like giving up. This is truly the best website for the best supportive people going through the same thing. A few months ago I failed my NCLEX, with the failure came a loss of a job, a halt in everyday life, everything was crumbling. But I got back up and did it again, all your encouraging words, kept me going. I studied day in and day out, I even slept in my books some nights. I went to workout, I brought my book. I went shopping, I bought my book. I then decided a week before I wasn't going to let it get to me anymore. I took time out for myself and I enjoyed the things I use to, then I studied a little. Then came the day on APRIL 8TH, I kept my faith, I prayed, I talked to myself and him. I smiled that day, went in there with confidence. Took my time.. and then 75 questions later it shut off. Then I turned to this website for encouragement. I WAS SCARED!!! PEOPLE REALLY FAIL AT 75 OR REALLY PASS AT 75. Today, the sunshined. I knew it was gonna be a good day, he's smiling back at me. I PASSSSEDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!!!!! I'm so excited. All the hard work, all the tears, the joys, everything. Thank you so much!! **crying** Thank you.

hi rn genny! :nurse:how did you study pharma? it's soo hard to study each drug especially its side effect, adverse reaction..some tips? thank you and congrats again!!! hope i will pass too:nuke:

now that i remember i did suzannes plan but i also read the ati book for pharmacology! i posted lots of summaries on this site if you scroll back a few pages.... that's how i studied for pharm and good a thing because i had like 10 or more pharm questions....

but saunders is good with pharm.... like all the other areas are a bit easier in saunders except for pharm, which is comparable to the nclex, in my opinion!

HOW SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET! I competely feel the same way about this site! Everyone is so nice and encouraging! I wish we all lived in the same town so we could practice nursing together.... there are some unfriendly nurses out there (so I hear), but everyone here is so peaceful and supportive! Congrats.... your hard work has paid off.... YOU DESERVE IT!
