April 2008 NCLEX test takers, COME ON IN!

Per the request of janina08 ;) I've started the April NCLEX takers support group. When do you take it? What are you using to study? Would anyone like to review any of the systems/meds that he/she feels weakest on? Let's keep each other in our prayers and good thoughts as we go through one of the biggest experiences of our lives. :) :nurse:

i made use of every minute i had to study and read and review before taking the test..i couldnt relax thats why.it was mind blowing..mines shut off at 75. i swear i puked before and after the test.i have never been stressed like that before and i never wanna feel that way ever again..i prayed so hard before and after like it was the end of time.this is it...and also,try to study the drugs from the commercials..more on diabetes and infection control..think ABC!!!!rememeber ABC. i swear most of it i feel like i just guessed,i just thought of ABC ALL THE TIME!those RESTLESS patients comes FIRST.thats wat i did,it worked for me...well good luck to u! i hope it helps....u have my prayers...

I just am waiting anxiously for my results...... also feel like i had to guess so much... and man I havent got a clue if i passed....

rizzzzzzzzzz hw do u prepared 4 d last 2 days of d exam???? i couldnt evn sit in a place nd review evrythng.plzzzz help me............

2 days prior my exam, i just read the infection control topics, brushed up with endo, cardio, pharma topics because these are my weak areas then did my last practice test.

a day before exam, tried to relax but i can't so i just cleaned the house, washed the laundry, watched TV, played with my 2 kiddos..

of course, pray..pray, pray & pray up to the last minute before i sat down in from of the computer & checked the result of my exam and another thank u prayer..:D

I totally agree with you Micha but we can always start a new thread to update everyone on the progress of our nursing careers:nurse: Don't ever lose hope in taking the test. Failing for me once just made me more focused and determined to pass the next time because I know how hard it is to study. God will not give challenges to us if he knows we can't handle...Just think of it this way, you already saw the test and you know how it is written, its your task right now to beat it through content and strategies:wink2: Stay focused on your goal and soon you will be an RN:nurse: GOOD LUCK!!!

i would like to say to all of the april test takers:

congratulations!!!

even if you didn't get the results you were expecting, you're one step ahead because you now know what to expect. i wish all of you a wonderful first year as rns and future rns. it has been my privilige and honor to be a part of this group.

we had our ups and downs; we supported each other through good times and bad; we were there for each other when we freaked out, and for that, we are all blessed. my only regret is that i don't know you all personally.

i personally feel that we created a family, though temporary, but one that has gone through an experience that we will never forget.

god bless you all, and let's keep each other posted on our successes as we go on in life as brand new rns and future ones. :)

I SOOOOO PASSED MY NCLEX PN:yeah:

I took it on Sat. April 26th and didn't want to see my results early cause I just knew I failed it. I cried my eyes out like a baby when I finished it because I thought I sucked, but I didnt fail like I thought. I got 85 Qs and passed!!! Just got the card today with the certificate.

I didnt post on here alot, but after reading posts and posting a couple times myself I gained a lot of confidence so THANK YOU ALL so much.

I have been THANKING GOD every since I found out. I'm just so happy!:heartbeat

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL WHO PASSED!!! GOOD LUCK WITH OUR FUTURE CAREERS!!! To those who didn't make it this time, stay positive and I'm sure your time will come and be nurses as well...By the way, I have been reading posts from other forums and they have positive feedbacks on our group...Its true that everyone has been very supportive here and that you can just feel the positive energies coming from each and every member. I hope we can still update each other on the outcome of our new careers...right now I am trying to look for jobs...I am currently in Portland, OR so my husband who is in California, is the one scouting for my possible employers. I am looking into a Psychiatric Nursing. I want to know from the new RNs on the best areas to work in. Keeping the APRILMANIA alive here!!!
