Per the request of janina08 I've started the April NCLEX takers support group. When do you take it? What are you using to study? Would anyone like to review any of the systems/meds that he/she feels weakest on? Let's keep each other in our prayers and good thoughts as we go through one of the biggest experiences of our lives. :)

hi rose143, i have seen in other posts, its actually 10 dyas on the average in CA. some even haven't seen their names posted and learn that they passed when they get their mail. so hang in there:)
Hello everyone I have been lurking for a while now and have decided to make my first post. I'm not too sure what to think anymore. I took the NCLEX on April 11 and I'm sure by now I should have heard something. I confirmed several times with the board whether or not my file is complete and they said yes. If so then I should have seen my name on the board within 3 days. This is the worst feeling ever. I thought I was well prepared and I actually left the exam feeling pretty good. When they screen went blank after 75 I thought to myself that I passed. I don't know maybe my mind was playing tricks on me. I guess the point of me sharing this with all of you is to vent my frustration. What makes this more difficult is I love the hospital I am currently working for and not passing is really going to affect me employment wise as well.
ORCA2 we make it more clearer...In Respiratory Acidosis and Alkalosis
1. when compensation occurred, the ph will be within normal limits
2. the blood gas result reflects partial compensation if the bicarbonate is abnormal
3. if uncompensated condition the bicarbonate is normal
Metabolic Acidosis and Alkalosis
1. if compensated has occured the ph will be within limits
2. if it reflects partial compensation pCO2 is abnormal
3. if uncompensated pCO2 is normal..

I PASSED!!!!!!!! woooohooo!!!! i still can't believe it. Thanks April Group! Thank you so so so much for all the inspiration and prayers. Thank you so so much SUZANNE!!! Suzanne's plan really works!!!And MOST of all to GOD be the glory!!!!
:redpinkhe Everything you have ever accomplished, began as a thought. Everything anyone has ever achieved, from cleaning the dishes to landing men on the moon, started as a thought. Thoughts are very powerful.
However, thoughts alone are not enough. You can think and think and think, all day long, every day, for months and months, about getting a new red sports car. You can visualize it with complete clarity and belief. Yet it will never just magically appear in your driveway until you take the actions necessary to make your thoughts a reality.
To be effective, thoughts must be translated into action. Action by itself is not enough. Thought by itself is not enough. The combination, action driven by thought, is what makes accomplishment happen.
Think and do. Think and do. That is the way to success. :redpinkhe:yeah:
