Nursing Students NCLEX

Hello everyone,

I decided to start a thread for those taking nclex in april 2009 so we can support and encourage each other. Please share your thoughts, fears, anything.....What you are using to prepare etc.

This will be my second time taking nclex. First time (nov 12, 2008), i had 75 questions....felt horrible when i found out i did not pass. I made a study plan and promised myself to stick to it and not procastinate, gave myself 6 wks of studying. I am studying saunders 4th ed for content review, doing questions from saunders cd and nclex 3500. I plan to re-take nclex on april 1st, 2009. I am hoping for the best for all of us yet to pass nclex.

I'm not really sure, but some people swear it does work.....maybe you'll get some more opinions.

Hello everyone!!!!

let me just say that I TOOK MY LVN BOARDS yesterday....... my test stopped at 85 questions....... I came out of the testing center feeling so terrible, wanting to cry, i felt so bad. I can honestly say that i do not know how it went. All my friends say that i passed because of the number of questions that the computer shut off, but i asked them if they know of anyone stopping at 85 questions and not passing the test! they said no... but that still does not make me feel any better. i am so nervous and sad because like everyone of you, i really need to pass..... please let me know if any of you know of someone stopping at 85 and not pass....... please

thank you all

ps: just study, practice questions, and the day of the test just relax, do not panic and read the question and answer to the best of your knowledge!!!!!!

Hi there!... countdown's way down to 2 more nights before my NCLEX day!. i dunno how to feel. i just took the simulated exam from "exam cram"... it boost my spirit coz it says i did excellent score. =)... i would like to take another set of simulated exam, but scared of getting below my baseline. lol....might depress me if it happen. . .

Best luck to all takers!,.. i always convince myself that i dont have to be afraid for two reasons: 1. I did my best to prepare (tho procastinate sometimes..hehe) and 2. God is with me. Ü

God bless us all!...please lets pray for all. . . a simple and -from the heart- saying "God bless this people" will be heard and granted by God. Ü Have faith, nothings impossible to God.Ü

Just breathe and take your time!! I caught myself missing key words in the questions b/c I was reading too fast. Good Luck to you!!!

Do you know if this Pearsonvue trick really works???

Because if it does, I'M SCREWED.

I cant stand the waiting.

awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

please let us know if you pass, i wanna see how good the kaplan questions are based on your scores,,,

I just found out that I did not pass. Not the end of the world just wondering how I should prepare for the next test?????????????????????????????????????????????????

Good o'll Kaplan, well I dont think Kaplan helped me at all. Infact I am just abou to give them a call.

Weird thing is, I'm a pretty smart person, I just have HORRIBLE test anxiety, I MEAN HORRIBLE. I had a feeling I would not pass the first time around but I am feeling more confident that I will pass the second time around.

Good luck to everyone, and by the way the Pearsonvue trick DOES work. Trust me everyone that has not been able to go the payment screen on pearsonvue has passed and I was able to and that means you fail.

Hope this helps and pray that I pass my second time around.

Thank you.

i am sorry happy you have such a good spirit. as long as you never give up that mean you did not fail. i will be taking my pn may 4th. wish me luck and let us all keep each other in prayers. we made it this far and God will see us through it.

everything happen for a reason. God time is the best time.

i am at the library studying the saunders book. i heard is good i will it help me.

Hello y'all...

I would just concentrate on answering questions and reading the rationales

thank you very much.

i took the LVN on the 9, i answered all 205 questions when i left i called my friends crying saying i failed, i was sad a lot of the questions i kept saying what is this i've never heard of this. I went home that night and tried the pearson trick and it did not let me reregister 2 of my classmates finished with only 85 questions and it did not let them reregister so hopefully that is a good sign for me. I still have 3 weeks to wait for my results. I go pearson everyday to check and so far it still doesnt let me register. I have 3 kids and really need to pass, my whole life is riding on this. Its a lot of pressure
