Applying to UCLA MECN to start Fall 2015?

Hi! Is anyone applying to UCLA's MECN program? Last year I applied and wasn't accepted. I believe they accepted around 12%. They had 70 spaces down from 90 the previous year.

I'm waiting to hear from CSULA and CSULB.

I'm also applying to LA Harbor College because they have a bridge program to CSULA. It would take three years but that's the same amount of time as re-applying next year if I don't get in at CSU or UC.

SMC has a similar program with CSUDH and they are still accepting applications.

ShirleyRex, did you already have an interview at Cal State LA? If so, how did it go?

I wrote the admissions an email and they have them on automatic response

Hey guys,

Do not give up!!! Accepted students have to submit their intent to register by March 2nd. And as for the Epi. class registration starts march 1st and the class begins july 22.

Just got an email today from UCLA at 12:51 PM today. Waitlisted for #25. Last name starts with an S. I'm really sad about it, but I'm just happy that I got into my other top choice school. Good luck to everyone else and keep working towards your goal, and whatever school you all end up choosing, just know that everything works out for the best.

In terms of the epidemiology class, when would we start enrolling in it? I havent checked if it is already open for enrollment. Anyone know? How does it work?

I tried to enroll in it, it says we can enroll starting March 1st... but enrollment is guaranteed for that class if you need it. Starts June 22, MW 930am. If you make your ucla id and whatnot you can check.

PS, seriously, can everyone find the facebook group except me? gah.
