Applying to MDC RN Generic Prgm for Fall 08

Stressing! I am applying to MDC RN prgrm for the fall of 08 with a 3.2 and will be taking my last two pre reqs over the summer and GPA will be a 3.5 once i'm done with the summer semester. Not exactly sure how they will decide on whether or not to accept me but I'M TOTALLY ANXIOUS! (have not even turned in my application yet) LoL Someone, ANYONE, pls HELP! There is all this talk about how difficult it is to get into the prgrm and NOW i'm worried i'm not going to get accepted!:uhoh3::uhoh3::o

I took mine at nursing unlimited, they have classess allover miami, and did not have to pay for a book, they let us watch a video and explained the guideline

Well, I signed up for the CPR class on the 15th of June and got my appointment for the background check as well.

I see I need to get the drug screening and shots. That's my next mission, so I'll have make a doctors appointment or check out the other places.

Is anyone going to the clinics for their shots or screening?

hi guys, I called to mdc yesterday, and ms Moya told me that the most important is to pay the $100, before June 9th.. And then fax the receipt. The other papers are due for the orientation in July , so we have plenty of time. If anyone has called her let me know if I got that information correctly !!!!!!

I go to ATI college of health doing respiratory therapy. I got a 3.8 gpa at ATI and 2.8 gpa at bcc. I heard there is some affiliation between miami dade community college and ATI in miami. Is it true. I am almost done with Respiratory therapy program planning to take the board exam in couple of months. Has anyone tried the bridge program that Miami dade has. Please let me know. I cant find any information about people who did bridge prog at Miami dade. Please let me Know if anyone got any info on it. THanks

I see that everyone is already calm, because the letters have come in. Now it is summer and classes are hot hot hot, and going fast. Gosh! I am almost having mid-terms for my classes. I am still exited about starting in August. I am so so happy. I can not wait to start yay.....yeah I can not wait to start so that I can be killing myself there too.

I was pleasantly surprised to find out that several people in one of my summer classes have been accepted. Slowly, but surely, I am getting the paperwork taken care of so I can have everything ready by orientation.

Please,,, I need help,,, I have to take the cpr course and I can't get the book in the whole city.. It is mandatory to buy the book??? The course is tomorrow at MDC medical campus, Thank you....
