Applying to MDC RN Generic Prgm for Fall 08

Stressing! I am applying to MDC RN prgrm for the fall of 08 with a 3.2 and will be taking my last two pre reqs over the summer and GPA will be a 3.5 once i'm done with the summer semester. Not exactly sure how they will decide on whether or not to accept me but I'M TOTALLY ANXIOUS! (have not even turned in my application yet) LoL Someone, ANYONE, pls HELP! There is all this talk about how difficult it is to get into the prgrm and NOW i'm worried i'm not going to get accepted!:uhoh3:

And also the deposit to the the bursars office, and also you need to fax the response form to them telling them that you are going to start attending nursing now on August. That seems about right correct?

Doesn't it say that the CPR documentation has to be submitted at orientation, which is in July? Are you talking about the generic full time or another option? Because the orientation for accelerated is in June.

Yeah. It is full time generic. It said something about CPR class. Did I read wrong?

I can't believe it yet, the wait is over. I went to dentist, left with my mouth still numb and checked my mail at the PO box !!!! There is was. Is it true? My dreams of becoming a Nurse are coming true. I couldn't even scream on the phone to tell my husband with my mouth but he figured it out. Yah!!!

Did you guys see all these forms? Now is when the fun starts.

Although I'm still a bit hesitant, I think I'm going to go ahead and apply, see what it's all about. Are you applying to it?

For the scholars program...isnt it 2 years if you decide to work for them part time...but 1 year if you work for them full time?

According to the information sheet that comes with the application packet it is full-time for 24 consecutive months (2 years), or part-time for 48 consecutive months (4 years).

hi guys, sorry I havent been on, busy day. Well when the mail man came today, he was filling up the mail-boxes and told me that there wasn't anything important in there for me, just junk mail so i left my house.

I'll be home waiting on hands and knees for that darn mail man. I'm going to go check myself to see cuz I dont trust him!! lol
