Any recommendations on commercial templates? There are several available to assist in formatting papers to the APA format.

I use Noodlebib located at http://www.noodletools.com
I think it was around $7.00 for a subscription (been awhile since I paid though).
You are eligible for the individual/family subscription rate if you and your family members will be the only ones using the account. The $4.00 (3 months), $6.00 (6 months), or $8.00 (12 months) will be charged to your account on the day you subscribe, and your account will expire at the end of the subscription period. You may renew the account at any time through our subscription management screens (link can also be found on the NoodleTools home page).
I just plug in the info and it spits out the bib. It will also give me an RTF for Word. I'm very happy with it.

I got really weird results :rotfl: when I typed in 'Perla.com' in google- can you please copy the URL and post it here? Thanks!
I misspelled it, forgot an "r" - Here is the address:

I wound up using styleezze simply because it had a free demo to try it out and it worked fine for me. Really cut down on some major formatting headaches due to lack of understanding.
Perrla looked good as well, similar in function, but did not try it since there was no free demo version.

I've used Style Ease since day one, it has saved me A LOT of time. You put a reference in the memory and it's there for your retrieval forever. Very useful for all those pathophysiology papers I had to write over the last two years. It automatically does your bibligography and alphabatizes it. Love it. Now if they would just come out with something that wrote your papers for you...

I have the Perrla, but I will warn you, I am not sure it is in line with the current APA guidelines? Reason I say this is because I used it for my last paper and it was handed back for me to redo because it was not consistent with APA. Was it fast? Yes (only when typing the 1st time). Was it worth it? No.
Now, funny thing is, one clinical instructor reviewed my paper and said it was perfect, and the other one made me retype it. GRRRRRRRRR.
