So I've decided to do the necessary evil of taking AP I over the summer. Yikes.
I'm only taking the lab & lecture; no other courses.
I need to have it done by Aug 31 to apply for the Fall '09 Charity S. Of N. in New Orleans.
Let's make this thread the OFFICIAL AP I 08 SUMMER!!!
Who's with me?!?!
I just ordered my textbook from ebay yesterday, got a great deal on the bundle for $79 considering it's $157 in the book store. I don't have the lab manual yet, but it's $112 at the bookstore.
What books are you all using? Mine is Human Anatomy & Physiology by Marieb 7th ed, and lab manual is Marieb Cat Version ed 9.
I'm using the same textbook but I'm using the "main version" for the lab manual. I wasn't sure if the textbooks for online classes was the same as traditional classes so I opted to get them from the online bookstore. They offered a study disk that I bought but there are so many websites that are more user friendly than the study disk so I probably won't use it much.
I bought my books the other day. I'm clearly a nerd- the bookstore wasn't done setting things up for the summer semester. My A&P pack was $167 for the text, lab book, and 4 other required supplementary books. I haven't unwrapped it yet- I still have to finish my psych paper and final from the Spring semester which I'm already feeling done with- if I start playing with my new toys I'll never be able to finish my psych work.
My text is Fundamentals of Anatomy and Physiology, 7th edition, by F.H. Martini and my lab manual is Laboratory Investigations in Anatomy & Physiology by Stephen N. Sarikas.
there are a&p weblinks listed on post #45 of this thread:

God Bless you! My BFF just took AP1, Psy & Soc together in a regular semester and it almost ate her lunch. She is very intelligent and very disciplined. Now she also is a single mother of a two yr old so depending on your situation it might work for you. Good luck!!!!
