Anyone waiting on acceptance letter from Tidewater Community College VA

Hi Im a student at TCC and I submitted my application in middle end of April, just wondering how long it normally takes to hear something, I am waiting everyday for the mailman about to drive myself loco. Is anyone else waiting for there letter from TCC. Please share with me.

Question..

Anyone know if Nur 170 instructors use blackboard? Class is starting Tuesday and nothing is listed.

Hi Im not sure I start nursing 108 tomorrow and I don't show anything in my blackboard either. Maybe they post the class on that day. Let us know Good Luck.

Sometimes they don't activate Blackboard until the 1st (or 2nd) day of class.

I think that happened when I was in 108. Turned out I wasn't on the instructors list. She had forgotten to check my name on her roster. If the other students have it tomorrow and you don't, be sure to check with them.

Hey, be grateful Smith's is using Blackboard!!! My prof. for the class I just passed RARELY ever posted anything on Bb. She posted study guides towards the end of class, when it was already crunch time for the final!!! Smith likes blackboard, if I remember correctly. 1Idolwife, you are in the cohort with one of my best buddies! Good luck to you. Study the F&E thoroughly, the first test is a doozy! I recommend "Fluid and Electrolytes Made Incredibly Easy," or any flashcards that might break it down a bit.

Wow I made it through the first day of Nur 108. Would anyone like to share their experience on how their first day was?

Just checking in to find out how you guys are all doing. Where are you in the progression of things? I've got the Summer and the first 8 weeks of the Fall semester to go, so TAKE HEART!!! There is light at the end of the tunnel :up:

If any of you need help with a concept, I'm now 1 of 2 nursing tutors at the campus. The other dude is entering 180 this summer, so he can tutor you in everything from 180 on down (and he's brilliant). I can teach 271 on down. I'll post additional hours available on the Nursing bulletin board after the semester break. Good luck!!! :smokin:

Hi Im a little disappointed I failed 108 by 4 points. Im passed 3 out of the 5 lecture test we had and I passed the final. So I know next time I have to work a little harder. Anybody ever had to repeat a class? If so how long did you take before they let you take the class again? I would like to start back in August, but I don't know what I need to do to show them im ready to jump back in. Should I write a letter to Mrs. Bell. Who yeah I did go to the tutoring with Kameel in 108 and I got a B on my test so he is great. :yeah:
