Hi there. Still waiting on letters from Tidewater here. Oh the anticipation! :uhoh3: Do you remember when in the summer yours came?

Good luck with your classes!

Hi yes I do remember when I got my letter. I applied into the late admission and had my application turned in by march. I got my acceptance letter in July. July 8th to be exact. It was worth the wait even though I drove my husband crazy

There is no waiting list. You need to take some prerequisites BEFORE applying to the program and then apply with supporting documents by may 15, once you've begun at Tidewater community college and completed placement exams, English 111, Microbiology, and Human Anatomy and Physiology part 1 (part 2 also has to be completed but as long as you have microbiology you do not need part two before applying). Yu also have to complete a nursing math exam before applying and score at least 90 in ALL four parts and if you do not you must complete math 1. Once you have everything you need you apply before may 15, and wait for your acceptance letter. As long as you get A's and B's you are good to go, you will probably get accepted. I applied May 15 this year and I got into the program, I start in March. There is no waiting list that you need to put your name on, but it is possible to be put on one and get in once someone does not accept their admission or something else happens. But, it all depends on your grades, and if you do everything you're supposed to do before hand. It's really not a big deal, I got a C in A&P and still got in. Good Luck!

Hi, I'm new here and I just transferred from California because my family wanted to relocate. XD Anway,

I got a B in Human Anatomy (hoping to be counted as A &P I), a C in Physiology(A &P II), and another C in Micro >.

Hi SCJavier sorry it took me so long to respond I had finals today. I think they should be able to transfer, I would suggest to go and speak with a counselor ASAP just to be sure and get started as soon as you can. Please keep me updated on what happens. Wish you the best of luck. :D

Thanks. ^^ I spoke with two counselors and they said that they should be able to transfer also. The thing that I'm worried about is whether I have a chance or not. They didn't tell me how competitive it was, I knew I should've asked. But I'm so worried. XD

As long as your GPA is fine and you have finished all the pre-reqs you should be ok. Check out the nursing info packet on TCC website because they pre-reqs go by points and they look at that also when accepting students. Let me know if you have any other questions.
