Anyone hear from the HRSA nursing scholarship????

To those that applied last year... Do you also need a transcript and/or recommendations? I'm requesting them soon for other scholarships, so I might as well ask for more if HRSA requires it as well. And they only give you 30 days and my profs are all on vacation, so it would be good to know ahead of time. I wish they would post it soon!

It doesn't require any recommendations --- I don't remember for sure if they asked for a transcript, if they did it did not have to be an "official one"

You don't need transcripts, but they send you paperwork that the school has to fill out. (it comes every semester too)

To all of those who received the scholarship....my question is do you all know of anyone who EFC was greater than zero and received the scholarship? The reason I ask is because I would like to apply for the scholarship but my EFC is 266.

I would apply anyways even if you are more than zero. I think they have filled it with all from first funding preference last year- info is in the 2007 scholarship bulletin on their website.

Has the application posted yet for 2007? I am hoping that I win it again and this year I will not turn it down as I am definately headed to Rivier! I also promised the other OWLS scholarship winner that I would send her the info as she is 0 EFC and raisinf two really great daughters.

To those in the program- can you tell us about how it has gone so far and what to expect if we win?
