  1. You may also want to brush up on you A&P, if you are taking Patho in the summer. It all depends on the semester. The first semester you will be taking Hlth Promotions (which is a mini-mester class(6 wks)), Hlth Assessment, and HIT 1 (which is also a mini-mester class). Clinicals are usually scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so you will be in class M,W, and F, and in clinicals the other two days. (I think it is still done that way, It's been almost 2 years since I have taken those classes). So to answer your question, anything is possible. I also had a two year old during my first semester and had to find ways to study while caring for my son. Sometimes you will feel overwhelmed, but remember it's only two years.
  2. Congratulations to all of our new nursing students. I am a senior nursing student, finishing my 3rd semester. One more to go.....As the previous poster mentioned, the program is very challenging, but doable. If there are any questions please feel free to ask.
  3. I was 22 when I started and I graduate next year, will be 24.
  4. What a great poem!!!!! I am going to print it out and make copies for all the mothers in my class. Thanks:yeah:
  5. My school does not round up......the grade you get is the grade you earned during the semester.
  6. Thanks for all the advice.....
  7. Hello everyone, Love the thread.... I will be taking patho this summer and was wondering if you all could provide me with any tips on how to study for this class? I have heard that it is a continuation of AP1 and 2, but for me this is a problem due to me not retaining the majority of the information presented in AP. What advice would you recommend in my case?
  8. Hi Nokueze, I received my acceptance letter from Mercer University about a month ago.....But it all depends on when you applied, they send out acceptance letters until August!!!!!
  9. Hi Mexarican, Congrats on your acceptance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Which Nursing School will you be attending this Fall?
  10. Blove86, These tests are used for nursing admission
  11. Hi harrisrn, I got in the first time i applied.....have you completed all the prereqs that are required?
  12. Hi Mexarican, Congrats on getting into your first choice!!!!! I really don't understand why they are setting the standards so high because from what I hear the program is not all that great. I also got into my first choice which was Mercer and I am so excited about starting.
  13. Has anyone got in at GSU for the fall 07? If so, what was your GPA and NET score. I was wait listed and my GPA is currently a 3.29 and I scored like a 80 on the NET.....just curious to know what they were looking!!!!!!!
  14. Hi Opradiva, I can not remember exactly how long it took, I think it was about 3 to 4 weeks and of course I was stalking the postman everyday until I finally received that letter. Good Luck!!!!!!!!!
  15. Hi Sue421, Congrats to you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I did submit my 200.00 nonrefundable fee along with my reservation form but that's the only form I have submitted. I am assuming that during orientation they will further discuss the forms that have to be completed.
