Accepted to Georgia Baptist Fall2007
To tbrown1 and opradiva, hey guys, i don't want to freak you out about the forms, but you can readily access these by going to http://www.mercer.edu, departments and admissions, then select admissions for georgia Baptist and and then enrollement forms. Just trying to give you heads up on all the requirements. I was a liitle overwhelmed at first, but it is really straightforward. Sue

Accepted to Georgia Baptist Fall2007
Mimi2nurse, I has heard great things about their program and they really focus on the students. You get pratical experience right away that continues for three years, therefore making you more confident in your field.

Accepted to Georgia Baptist Fall2007
I just got accepted to the nursing program at Mercer. I am really excited and anxious as well. I would love to talk to anyone who will be going there in the fall of 2007.

...I'm about to cry
You can do it!!! Lighten the load a little. It's better to do good in one or two classes than do bad in all of them. never give up, no matter how tough it gets.

I dont want to do this anymore!!!
Oh Lordie, Lourdie, Lourdie I am glad I read every single thread, but at the same time wish i didn't. I am about to invest $48,000 into nursing education and i am hoping it's not going to be a mistake. It's amazing what you can tune out when you seem so determined to do something. For instance, i had fellow friends already LPN's tell me that they are quitting b/c of politics, other co-workers, lack of staff....and i would listen and pretend it would never happen to me. I must be teribbly naive or dense to think that nursing would be my dream job... it's too late for me to turn back.... whatever confidence i had now is gone......can anyone answer this question - what floor is new grad friendly?

I'm confused...
Hi there, I was in the same boat as you 2 years ago. I would strongly suggest that you atleast do 80% of the prereqs before you apply. The more you do before you actually start nursing classes the better off you will be.
