Anyone else a planner nerd?

Finding motivation in the most appropriate of places today with my Happy Planner. I'm starting an ADN program this spring and I'm anticipating it to be rough. I wanted to share this bc I think this quote is powerful.

Yep. Erin Condren here.

I love my planner. It got me through 17 credits in one semester during pre-reqs (4.0!)

It got me through nursing school with flying colors (3.91)

Now that I'm going back for my BSN, I'm busting out my handy dandy color-coded planner. Keeps me on track, never miss an assignment and still have time for family :)

Ugh, yes! I'm starting my second year with a bullet journal.

I love lists so it's amazing.

I plan everything and LOVE a fresh, new planner! My family says it is due to control issues. Meh, I think I just really like lists. LOL

Starting my program on the 11th just bought a new planner [emoji23]

When I was in my MSN program, I used one of those huge monthly desk calendars. Color coded each course so that I could write down due dates for assignments and know at a glance which class had an assignment due when.

Now, I use both my calendar app on my iPhone as well as Emily Ley's daily Simplified Planner. Pricey, but I really like it and it helps me keep my to dos, bills, work schedule, dinner plans, and everything else organized. Much easier than having a separate planner and to do list, especially as I have a hard time remembering to check things off in multiple places.

I've used a plum paper planner and am now using an inkwell press planner. I pretty much live by my google planner though, and am waiting for the day when I incorporate my google planner into a paper one :).

Color coding courses is genius. Thanks!

Erin Condren planners are SO pretty. I've wanted one since I first heard about then a year or so ago. I just can't personally justify forking over $50-70 for one since 9 times out of 10, my planners end up getting thrashed (I usually get the small 5X8 ones, and the spine gets smashed at the bottom of my bag and it falls apart).

I ended up buying buying an 8X10 from Sugar Paper, Los Angeles for $10 and I really love it. I'm hoping it will last me longer since it's the size of a regular notebook.

Check out Mercari. I've seen a bunch of EC planners listed there for cheaper than face value!

I have an uncalendar, which I love. It was plain looking when it arrived, but a few stickers, decorative tape, and color coding my life have made it really fun and cute.

I think there are two types of people in this world....those who planner and people I just don't understand. :) Perhaps I am envious...between school, kids, scouts, and life I can't remember it all if it isn't written down in a nice OCD sorta way. Heck, I have reminders for my husband listed under my to-dos.

I use my Google calendar and things can be color coded. It's been very useful.

I love planners and calendars! I probably have too many...I have a Lily Pulitzer planner to go with me, a dry erase board calendar in my room, a dry erase weekly calendar above my desk, a big month calendar on my desk & an app on my iPad that sends me notifications. It's the best way for me to never forget about something & see what's in store. It may be too much but it helps me!
