Anyone who has completed suzannes plan

I too bought the 4th edition and am doing the questions, and did my posts, NOW WHAT, I've failed twice and have put of doing it again for a year. Thought I had found an answer. PM me please.

Suzanne's plan is her plan and she does request that it isn't shared around without her permission. Please be careful and also respect her wishes

does anyone have an alternative since Suzanne's plan is not available. Please don't say kaplan or hurst.

Thanks, I dont feel so bad because i took Hurst and Kaplan as well. I think that studying Saunders book is the best way to go.

I was also planning to do Suzanne's plan and purchased the saunders book and then found out it is no longer offered. I have done Kaplan in the past, and currently have the Q-bank online. Answering the q-bank questions helps me, but I don't feel like the Kaplan book is as detailed as it could be. I am testing in a month, so for now, I am studying Kaplan, and then using Saunders to look up things that I need to study more in depth. If I had more time, I would study only the Saunders book. It tells you everything you need to know and is very well organzied and easy to use, and it also comes with a CD of questions. I would recommend using Saunders, and if you really study the book, I am sure you will pass. This book has all the info you need.

Me too, I was hoping to use Suzanne's plan. I found out I didn't pass a few weeks ago and since then I have been working on her first tip, using Saunders and working on getting enough posts to PM her. If anyone has some suggestions on what my next step should be, I would really appreciate it! Thanks so much.

Practise questions and keep practising. I would say do 2-3 hours a day and don't over do it. Read the rationales they will either back you up if you got the question right or point you in the right direction if you got them wrong

I feel so lucky to be one of the last groups doing suzann's plane now. But as you all know there is nothing i can do to help you cause we have to keep the promise by not sharing it. the only thing I can tell cause she said it in many posts as ageneral rules. Use sunder's.I failed three times and Iam about to take my test on04/05. I feel so confedent. Read saunders. do her first step honesty do not be board or say this is to much! then do as many question as possible from the same saunders cd. Be patient and follow her first step. You will feel the diffrent take your time do not rush to retake it again. I am telling you don't wast your time on review classes or any other book this is the book. I never wanted to do the first step this book is huge ,but i made plan study time for my self and I did finish the book in less than 3 weeks. Every day I did one system in med surg 2 the same time I did peds system(resp in adults &children). You have to be consist every day do 2-3h. you will see the diffrent. I wish I can tell you the plane but I can't. This is all the information that I gatherd from the pm's before I got her plan. Please do the book & the cd. Just feel lucky that you have the first step to the passing road which is suzan's tip about the right book. Do you know how many books out there? Be smart find your own way to study that book and the CD. Suzann wants all of us to be creative. She was doing it for free that should tell you some thing. promise your self that this is your book don't mix and match stick with one book and gooooooood luck. I you smart you will follow what i advice you.

I wanna back Samsam, Sauners is just the book esp if u are international. Do her first tip to the letter as she said, do not be in a hurry but consider understanding. I felt lyk twaz so much initially but the desire I had to pass overcame everything. Am blessed to have bn among the last bunch of doin her tip. Practice questions with the CD! May God bless u as u prepare. He has a future and a hope for you!
