With only 4 weeks until we can start applying, I thought that it would be nice to start a new thread so that we can all keep in touch, pass along information, and post our stats.
U guys are rite. I am taking on 9/11 actually. That was mistake. I hope I will raised my points. Any pointers about TEAS. As you guys just took it..any ques from physics / chem/ natural science.. I'm gud at biology though...
I am bad at grammer part. I definitely will raise point I guess. Because I ahve already took TEAS once. Now i have idea what to expect..Its not like a shock
When were you planning to take your teas again? You posted 7/10, but I think that was a mistake. If you meant 9/10 then you can still take it since you will get your score right away. You should definitely try because slrberry brought up some good points of why there would be less students applying this year. Good luck!
I took my TEAS test on back-to-back days aT Delta and I looked at my areas of weakness, then reviewed those. MY weak areas were science and grammer, so I searched online for a natural science website and it really helped. There were at least 3 questions on there from what I reviewed. I also went over the grammer sections in the TEAS study guide and it helped.
For the 64.5 that is the score of the final person from the alternate list, because they simply go down the list of scores. She was 30 something.
Also, remember that 90 percent of those selected are from the list, and the last 10 percent are selected at random, so you never know, someone has to be the luck 10 percent and it might be you
Harry, the majority of science was natural science (which I haven't done since the 6th grade), so I definately needed a refresher, and the other parts were from anatomy and chemistry, which is still fresh since it hasn't been that long since I've taken those. The website I reviewed for natural science is http://www.regentsprep.org/Regents/earthsci/units/rocks/index.cfm
I went through all of the links and did the questions as well. I reviewed the website for maybe, 2 hours a day for about 3 days.
Are you guys ready to apply? I'm glad that this week is finally here! I looked at the other Delta thread and it seems like they got their letter to submit documents after 2-3 weeks. SCC and ARC is going to take such a long time, because applications dont close for another month.
Good luck to you all as well!
I completed my application, but but have not yet submitted it. I think I'm going to wait until Monday, because I think I got approved for a fee waiver, but I want to go to financial aide to get a printout to be sure, before I check that box on the application.
Do you guys know if there is somewhere online I can go to get proof or a printout of this? I checked Delta's financial aid website but it doesn't say, so I think I have to go to the office.
I'm freaking out right now because I just remembered that I put title "BIO" for two of my classes, but it says "BIOL" on my transcripts. I just hope not adding that L won't cause a big problem!
Slrberry, I think you can go on the delta financial aid system & click on awards & there should be something there that says you are eligible for the bogg fee waiver. Double check w/ FA if you can use that.

Thanks Roxy! And thanks slrberry. You made some good points, so I'm going to hope for the best.
Harry, Delta takes the best of 3 TEAS scores, so if you'd like to improve your score I'd definitely take it at Sac State. Like Roxy said, it still gives you time to apply if you're taking the test on 9/10. Good luck.
