With only 4 weeks until we can start applying, I thought that it would be nice to start a new thread so that we can all keep in touch, pass along information, and post our stats.
CaRNwnt2b - I too am so sorry to hear about your friend. Its tough losing your study buddy. Thank you for posting to let us know that there IS actually a denial letter out there. So far everything posted about the procedure makes sense.
Kwade84 - thanks for wondering about your application and doing the research, lol, helps me spend a little less time wondering about mine and I can get my work done cause I have been slacking at work wondering what the heck is going on with my application, lol.
Crossing my fingers for all of us that we get to meet soon at the luncheon:)
Hi everyone...I'm not sure what my friends score was like but she did have a few things going for her that I didn't..foreign language being one of them. however her teas score wasn't so hot and that will could kill any app because there is so many points to be had with the teas test! But I know my score is like 61 or 62 so I am sure I'm on the alternate list at least that is what I'm feeling about this whole thing. And YES I hope we soon can ALL meet at the luncheon! That would be soooo awesome! Have great day all...
My score is 61.5. I have a 3.71 gpa in sciences and 4.0 in english and nutrition. I have work experience as a Medical Assistant and need to work. The thing that messed up my score was also the TEAS, I had no time to study so I got a 79.4%. I am hoping my grades will make up for it. I am so excited now to read that some people didn't get the submit docs e-mail. So sorry for your friends though.
This thread is wonderful! It's great we have somewhere to go to ask questions, vent, and hopefully get answers. I'm low on points with only 55.5.... so either I'm really, really low on the alternate list, or I got lucky and got in with the lottery. Either way I'm thankful to make it this far! I'm getting off work early on Monday and dropping off my application in the afternoon. I'll just feel more comfortable not relying on the mail, you know? Good luck to everyone and I hope these weeks fly by!!
I have question about Official Transcript of Teas test. Last month, I took exam at other place than SJ delta college. When I scheduled my exam, ATI offered that they would send my official transcript directly to SJ delta ADN for free. So, I am wandering do I have to order transcript again. I already send an e-mail to [email protected] twice, but no response yet. Anybody have any suggestion.
You may be able to ask ATI themselves to see if it was ever sent over and maybe a confirmation or something. I emailed them this morning asking how long it took to have it sent over and they emailed me back within minutes with an answer. The email is [email protected]

Hi DD2010! I also took my TEAS at another college & I sent my official results 2 days ago. I let them know that I sent my results already, but I haven't gotten a response yet. If they don't respond to you before Oct 21st then I think you should order another transcript just in case.
Has anyone sent their official transcripts to admissions & records for evaluation purposes? They don't have any of my transcripts on file & I'm thinking of sending them just in case I do get accepted to their nursing program.

Thank you Kwade84 for your digging...I think it is true that at least a first ranking has been done..
I got some unfortunate news from a dear friend/classmate who has been trying to get into Delta right along with me. We went through physio together! She told me this a.m. that yesterday she got denials from both the RN and the LVN program at Delta. So this should clear up that question. I'm very sad for everyone who has been trying so hard to get in to a program up and down the valley and still hasn't received a spot! So...we are all extremely fortunate to have received the emails we did!
