Anyone Applying to Delta College for Spring 2011

With only 4 weeks until we can start applying, I thought that it would be nice to start a new thread so that we can all keep in touch, pass along information, and post our stats.

Yes..on delta's financial page you click on an "awards" tab and it shows what you have been awarded. I talked to a current nursing student and she said she printed this page. This page also displays your name at the top and the year of award. hope that helped :)

They got back to me and said that we DON'T have to submit a Delta transcript.

Hi everyone..I am just going over everything double, triple checking before I submit this packet (that means everything at the moment). I have a degree with delta I just finished this summer and it is posted to my records. They ask for me to submit a copy of this showing I do have a degree, but since it is delta's do I need to submit this transcript? I emailed them @ [email protected], is this the same email you have received answers from? I sent my message early this am and got no response. I'm sure they are busy so I guess I will be going to Delta on Monday and getting a transcript to add it in just in case. I can't screw this up! :eek: Thanks for your thoughts on this. Also I have a friend who is a first semester nursing student at Delta and he said to talk to Julie Lang in the nursing office. He says she seems to know everything when it comes to documentation, just in case anyone has to ask them in person any questions. ;) I might be there! Have a nice weekend.

Do we need to submit a copy of SSN or just a number.

You should get a response pretty quickly from them. I really don't think you'll need it, since they said that you don't have to submit delta transcripts, but maybe if you have an unofficial one or a copy of your degree then include it. The problem with needing an official transcript, is that it takes a few days, even with rush shipping, so i don't know if it would be ready for thursdays deadline.

I have sent 2 e-mails to the address you have posted and nothing in response. I sent the last one Tuesday about the paystubs. I guess I'll just talk to someone when I get there about it. I am pretty sure I only need 1 though.

Thanks for all the input....I fortunately live close by and can get a transcript by Tuesday if I go Monday and request one. I'm gonna go there early and will probably to to the nursing department and ask about my degree stuff, so if anyone wants me to ask them anything else, private message me and I will get back to you Monday when I finish there. :)

I'm taking my packet tomorrow morning and hoping that 1 paystub is sufficient since no e-mail back.
