With only 4 weeks until we can start applying, I thought that it would be nice to start a new thread so that we can all keep in touch, pass along information, and post our stats.
So far I am very happy with the program. I have had excellent instructors. They do want you to succeed. The workload so far has not been too bad. Although I am changing my rotation next week and I know its going to get alot busier for me, nursing 4 is typically pretty hard from what I hear, 10-hr clinical days two days a week, but that's OK!....I still can't believe I am in the program, and even more exciting at the end of this semester I will be half way done!!!
slrberry-yup, yup, yup, that was me, lol. It is a small world! Were you able to get your application into the other schools? Will delta be your first choice school?
What a small world! Yes, I applied for ARC and Sac City.Delta now will be my first choice. I applied for CSU Stan, but I withdrew my application a few weeks ago.
I was planning on dropping off my documentation tomorrow, but I had to go to campus today, so I turned everything in when I was there. I spoke to some other students who were there today, and most of them were applying to the LVN or psych tech program. Now it makes sense why we have to wait so long, seeing as how they will be going over the paperwork from students from all of the programs.
I also asked how many students dropped off documents, and I was told that there were only about 10 today, which were put in a basket which will be picked up by someone at a later date.
One of my schools doesn't have the catalog year posted on the course descriptions so I'm attaching a copy of the catalog cover that I got from college source.com. Is anyone else doing the same thing? Unfortunately my school doesn't provide hard copies of the catalog & they don't have a picture of the cover for the electronic versions so I decided to just print one out from college source.
Roxy, I would email them, and ask them for their suggestion. I would hate for you to attach a different years cover and they think that you took it from the wrong catalog year and you get disqualified. I personally would probably just attach a piece of paper with the name of the school and catalog year that you took it from so that there is no confusion on where you got it, because they are really BIG on making sure that you got it from the catalog year that you took the course.

Hi AlyKat, don't get discouraged yet! I KNOW they didn't ask 477+ people to submit their documentation. That's WAY too much info to go through. I don't know anyone else that applied, but my guess is everyone that got the email is either in the program or an alternate.... at least that's what I'm hoping. I know last semester there were quite a few people that didn't get the congrats email, so think positive!
