Is anyone going to put in their application this fall for Spring or Summer 2010?. I'm excited about finally getting to put in my application, I'll be attending the August 1st info session and be applying for the summer session. I will still be taking pre-reqs in the spring and I was so relieved when I found out I don't have to have everything finished to apply. My GPA is currently 4.0 and I should (I hope!) be able to keep that up until next spring. I'll be done all my sciences at the end of this summer semester and only have a couple math, a history and a pile of social sciences to do (music appreciation anyone!). The admission essay is making me nervous, but I have lots of time to work on it - I hope my GPA helps me out and they don't rely on essay alone.
I'd love to be in contact with anyone looking to get into CU.
BTW - I was going to go to DSN, but changed my mind since I decided to retake some old classes, and since we're paying for our own kids to go to college at the same time, needed to keep the cost down.

Orchid: Once I get my acceptance/rejection letter, I will post my stats regardless if I get in or not. I think it would be helpful to know, what got people in/or not and with what grades. Sound good?
I wonder if people closer in the city (closer to the school) will find out first? So, when you find out...let us know, so we know the letters are coming!
I also wonder if they send it out electronically (through email)? Do any of the people that got accepted for priority know?

Stellagirl - I live in Brighton, so if they mail it today I could easily get it tomorrow or Sat. (gulp!) It's funny, I was originally thinking it would be an e-mail rather than a letter anyway, I don't know WHAT I was thinking (yup, I'm a blonde! lol) I am also all for getting together for a celebration. - either drinks or coffee works for me. Hey, even if I don't get in I may crash just up to cheer on those who did.
I love the idea of a celebratory drink too...hopefully we will all be celebrating in a day or two. I live about 10 minutes from the Anshutz campus--wish I could just zip over there and get my letter in person! My mail came today already and nothing...I am dreading the possibility of getting a small envelope :-(
my anxiety level is through the roof these past few days!
SIGH! I am going out of town for the weekend, leaving tomorrow morning (before mail is delivered), but I do hope the letters are mailed today, then at least it will be waiting for me when I get home!!

I have been worthless at work this week! My mind is on what may or may not be in the mail when I get home. I made my husband promise not to tell me if it came in the mail if he gets home before me... I would probably wreck my car from being some anxious to get home.
My mail typically doesn't get delivered until around 4-5ish...it looks like it won't come today though since others aren't having luck, but who knows!?! I live six miles away from the school, so maybe it will get to me a bit faster...?
