Anyone applied for an Internship for Scott & White, June 2012?

The deadline is the last Friday in March. From now on I going to open my options because I am now aware competition is pretty fierce for jobs; for some reason I just assumed a job was going to just appear and float down in my hand like a feather, how naive. BTW I graduate this upcoming May. I am starting to get pretty freaked out about jobs now. And, have you all heard anything about Scott & White? Seton was my first choice, but I'm just making more room.

Do you know the time frame in which the application process starts for the January 2013 cohort? I know you were referring to the last Jan cohort, but I can't seem to find this information anywhere and was hoping someone might be able to answer that? Thank you!

Google Scott and White Nursing Internship and in the results there should be a PDF link that will send you to it. I can't open it so I don't know if its running and the website does not have the link or info.

I would recomned e-mailing one of the nurse recruiters or calling to get more specific information. I do not know anything about next cohort so you would need to call or keep checking back on the site.

Yes, thank you. It did help. Apparently, there is more than one Scott & White website. I was going to the wrong one, and specific internship info was not showing up there. I appreciate it.

So the application process s different this time around. Also, HR replied to my email stating that openings for the specialty internships will be posted starting on October 1st. However, I have yet to see any other than the medsurg posting from May. Anyone know more about this before I follow up directly? Thanks.

They don't require the packet this time around, just the online application and resume. I was told by HR that the postings will be up by the end of this week or beginning of next. Deadline is still the same....last Friday in October.

Thank you, Shiner50. I was worried I was looking in the wrong place. I saw that the NICU and PICU postings are up, so hopefully the rest are soon to follow.

*maniacal laugh* should I share? It seems the applicant pool may be less competitive if I stay mum.

Seriously though, the website has been wonky. I had to bookmark the page to make sure I keep getting to the right webpage because it can be confusing -- both pages look the same. However, here is what I found:

Healthcare Jobs and Careers at Scott and White seems to be wrong.

Scott & White Healthcare Jobs and Careers seems to be correct. Go through the job search from here and the extra intern positions show up.

If you search under Specialty Internships, the ones you are looking for should come up. But, they post them at different times so check every day.
