The deadline is the last Friday in March. From now on I going to open my options because I am now aware competition is pretty fierce for jobs; for some reason I just assumed a job was going to just appear and float down in my hand like a feather, how naive. BTW I graduate this upcoming May. I am starting to get pretty freaked out about jobs now. And, have you all heard anything about Scott & White? Seton was my first choice, but I'm just making more room.
From what I was told by C.W the scores were EXTREMELY close. Decimals I mean.. He also told me to apply to the January cohort but said if he can hire the final 7 he wants I will be in if the CNO approves. I think he wanted to hire 30 I believe but CNO accepted 23.
I'll probably get some experience and then come back in January if not more are hired. I really liked this hospital.
I do not know of any places to live. If you look back in the older SW posts a lot of the people there were posting apartments. that were good.
I don't believe there are relocation incentives provided. Only a job offer :)
Congratulations getting into the MICU and STICU :hrnsmlys:
Hello Qwerty13,
I'm relocating to Temple, you can email me at [email protected] I know a couple of people who live in Temple and have given me some ideas.
Thanks,
I don't know how they do NICU interviews. All I can say is sell yourself, do your research, know about any research or news about SW NICU and bring that up somehow, show them you want to be there and are excited.
They did not ask hard questions except What's your greatest fear? Know what your goals are short and long term. If you are certified like NRP, part of a NICU organization or anything related to NICU that you have gone above and beyond bring it up.
Be your self :) and good luck

Does anyone know if Scott and White offers any relocation incentives (moving to Temple)? $$
