has anybody sold books with eCampus?

I sold a book to eCampus.com back in December and they still have not sent me my check. I've contacted them 4 times already and they keep telling me that they are just overwhelmed with orders and it should be sent to me in 10-12 weeks. They've been telling me this since early March. I'm really frustrated with them that it takes 5 months to send a check for under $20. I just sent a book in to bluerectangle.com last week and my payment has already been put in my paypal account. Has anybody else has problems with eCampus? There's not even anything I can do about it now because they have my book. I went to the BetterBusinessBureau Online but you can't file a claim for being owed money.

i've never used them. i've only ever gone through half.com and have never had an issue with payment.

Ive always had good luck with eCampus, both buying and selling. Matter of fact, I just sent out a sale yesterday. They're a local company for me (Lexington Kentucky), maybe if you're farther away it has something to do with it?

How long do you think it's usually taken for you to receive payment?

I stick with eBay. I don't ship the books out until I've received the money.

Wow, I have sold a bunch of books on eCampus and never had a problem. Although, I have not sold anything in the past 3 semesters so things may have changed. Sorry to hear about your delay, I know every bit of $ counts now. Good luck!

I "sold" a bunch of books to ecampus in on January 3rd. I'm still waiting for payment. :angryfire If you've never had a problem with them good for you but I would never take a chance with this rip off company again. I have sent numerous emails and each time I'm told that it takes 6 weeks to send out payment. The last email didn't give a time frame- just the same old thing there is a back log. I would warn anyone against dealing with this company. Do a search on internet and you'll see. You won't see your books or payment.

same thing happened to me I sold $200 worth of books at the end of december to ecampus they confirm that they have recieved the books and that payment is pending but I dont think I will ever see my money!!

I told them in my last e-mail that I am boycotting them and have encouraged several other people to do the same. Most of their book prices are higher than B&N or Amazon anyway. I wish I could find a way to file a complaint agains them though. My sale to them is less than $20, not anywhere near as much as yours! I'd be really furious if they owed me $200!!!!:angryfire :angryfire :angryfire Maybe we should all just keep flooding them with complaint e-mails. One of my friends said to e-mail them every day until they send a check!:lol2:

I bought some books from them....it was a nightmare won't make that mistake again, & I am in Ky. so I don't know what took so long to get them!
