Any GCC Students?

Just found out Tuesday I am starting Nursing School in January at GCC. I have been going there for 3 years getting my pre req's out of the way and finally starting Nursing School. How do we find out our class schedule?

I noticed some of you were asking about PDA'S before. There is a website. www.skyscape.com that sells them with medical downloads in them. There is one for 199.00 that has Outlines in clinical medicine, AHFS dosing companion, ICD-9 coding reference, and archimedes medical calculator. I thought it was a pretty good deal. You can also purchase other downloads form amazon.com at a pretty good price. Just wanted to share the info.

Thanks! My husband and I went to Frys the other night and we bought a really nice PDA. I think he was excited about it because he went back last night and bought the little keyboard and wireless internet thing to go with it!!! I figure he can play with it until i need it for class! I downloaded a trial version of the constellation package but you cant really open anything it just lets you VIEW things when you click on a drug it goes to a generic screen. How is everyone? Things got a little crzy around here.

No I havn't gotten it have any of you? Saturday would be fun but i could let you know for sure when you call or vice versa because my father-in-law is in the hospital right now. He is having surgery today so I dont know what that means for the weekend...I had my nephew here last night so i might have him again and i just want to make sure they dont need me for anything....you know??

I have to write a two page paper for my world religions class on the five pillars of Islam... it's to get 15 points of extra credit and then we present the information to the class the last week of school...HHAHAHA and i thought i was stressed!!! You have a 20 page paper!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! haha!!! LOL just kidding... I remember taking that class. Our teacher was really nice but HARD!

I'm here. I've been researching books. I just wish I could buy some right now...or maybe I don't. Then I'd have to start reading them :uhoh3: I found on Barnes and Noble that there's free shipping, 10% off (if you're a member) PLUS no tax!!! It seems to be the best deal so far. Now I've just got to PAY for them, that's the hard part :chuckle .

Nothing much else is new, I still hate my FON class, can't wait until it's over!!!

Can't you check online for your schedule? I know at MCC it shows up online. I tried checking GCC last week, but mine isn't there yet either. Ho hum, I guess it will show up by Jan 13th, my first day of class.

How is everyone doing? I was at the hospital today (visiting F-I-L) and watching all the nurses. John C Lincoln on Dunlap... they were all really nice... I hope they are like that to their students!! LOL

Goodnight! Hope everyone is well! I'm going to go relax and watch Emma (never seen it) I ordered it off ebay, the Jane Austen book turned movie with gwenyth paltrow (sp?)

then take out contacts and go to SLEEP, im trying to enjoy this weekend because i think im going to start working a bunch of hours until January.
