Any GCC Students?

Just found out Tuesday I am starting Nursing School in January at GCC. I have been going there for 3 years getting my pre req's out of the way and finally starting Nursing School. How do we find out our class schedule?

IKWYM! When I first saw them I thought "those can't be the shoes everyone posts about lol!...I live at that store! The crocs are really cute....the only thing that would gross me out is that there are big holes on the tops of them...I can just imagine all kinds of bodily fluids seeping through them.....:eek:

that's funny I thought about that too, the holes in those shoes. We can't wear them at work. I work in a dialysis unit. I'm the Kelly taht is in Patho with the other Keli from gilbert

Is that the color for all of the community colleges that green/blue color?? I think its PRETTY! I LOVE that color!!!

I think it's pretty too...just not when it makes my skin take on the same tinge!

Actually, the tops are a lot better than the WHITE pants we'll have to wear....I'm afraid to see what my rear view is going to look like!

Im looking at this site apparelpro and it says you get a 25% discount... so are they expensive to start out with? Or is it worth going in there for the discount on items like stethoscopes etc. I bought mine at the scrubs store at AZ MILLS about 3 years ago and it is nice but i can BARELY make out heartbeats on the dang thing. I figured i would put out the bucks on a nice one thats amplified to make that part a little easier, i cant remember the times i had to repeat someones BP in NA school because i couldnt hear crap!

Yea i didnt notice when reading the threads over there that those shoes had holes in them. I cant imagine that they would let us wear shoes with HOLES in them how dumb... I want something that feels light...anyone tried those merrel shoes they are talking about?

Their prices aren't bad in general but you can get a better buy online...i just bought mine at allheart.com and it was 60.00 cheaper...There is also another company, Redding Medical that sells them for the same price as allheart.....I ended up getting mine engraved with my name on it. I didn't want to but DH kept bugging me to do it because the lady at Appaerlpro said that they get stolen alot.....They also visit the campuses every semester and bring supplies (scissors, gait belts etc....) I'm going to buy all of that stuff then because hopefully we'll get a list of supplies we'll need when we go to orientation....

I have some merrels and they are very comfortable. I wear them as everyday shoes. I haven't seen any in all white though...Dillards carries them if you want to try some on....

Right now in Patho we are on Neurologic and eye and ear diseases/disorders

Sooo much fun!! I'm working on a treatment journal right now for that class.

It feels like I am rewriting the book. YUK:crying2:

We'll start Special Senses after our exam tomorrow, the Neuro, then finish up with Reproductive. This has been such a fun class...I hope it's a good indication of what the other Nursing classes will be like! Good luck with your journal!

I have a question about info in the packets. On the fulltime checklist it has the math class on 1/12-1/13 at 12:30-4pm. But then there was a separate flyer that shows the class being 1/12-1/13 800-1200pm And they have the same section number. So what time is the class?
