Hello! I have been looking for a thread for ARC for Spring 2016 and have yet to see one so decided to start one myself! Anyone applying for ARC's ADN program for Spring 2016 that want to share any questions or concerns while we wait for acceptance letters? This is my 5th time applying and am really hoping this is my lucky semester!
I have 75 :) I've spoken to one of the professors in the nursing program about my points total and if I am actually in the active pool of people that the computer chooses from, and she confirmed that if your status says "qualified" then you are already in the top 30% of applicants. She said there's nothing else I can do to increase my chances.
That is so frustrating to see ppl getting status change and you still don't. I'm sorry to hear that for you guys. Hope you find out soon. The waiting is so stressful and this is my first!
Raine, I feel sad for you that luck has not been on your side, especially to be qualified, make it into the pool, and still not get picked. Sad face

Thanks for replying, I really hope you get in this round. Its a good thing that you are staying positive and productive in the mean time.
Hi Everyone!
I applied to ARC for this Spring. I dropped off my application on Wed 9/23 and I was 161 on the list. My points were 80 and my status has still not changed I'm pretty sure I did everything right, so starting to worry that I am not even in the pool. The waiting game is definitely nerve wrecking. Best of luck!
As long as you dropped off the application by the deadline, you will be in the pool if qualified. As long as a status update, they take a while to update it. The random selection doesn't happen until until 6-8 weeks after the deadline anyways, I don't think, so don't stress about that :)

Anyone's application status still say just "Received"? I submitted my application on 9/21 but it still only says it has been received. I'm growing concerned =( I did have external credits, so and a few extra points that may need to be verified. Could that be holding up my application? This is my first year applying, so I'm not sure what to expect.
