Hello! I have been looking for a thread for ARC for Spring 2016 and have yet to see one so decided to start one myself! Anyone applying for ARC's ADN program for Spring 2016 that want to share any questions or concerns while we wait for acceptance letters? This is my 5th time applying and am really hoping this is my lucky semester!
Thanks OrientCrown, but my TEAS score was too low (82.3). I'm debating on retaking it or not for the CSUS program. I think I'll try my hand at Sierra, SCC, and ARC in the Spring before retaking. Crossing my fingers!
If I were you, I would totally retake the TEAS and try for CSUS. Last cohort minimum accepted points was 76, I think.
Hi guys, Just joining this thread now. This is my 9th time applying to the nursing programs in the area. It's hard to wait this long and I hope I get in soon, but in the meantime, it's fun to chat with other hopefuls :)
9 times?! Wow you have patience!! This is my 5th time applying. Have you tried Delta college in Stockton? I know it's a crappy location but they admit off of merit not lottery so if you have a decent GPA/TEAS score you have a good chance of being accepted there. I really hope you get in this round!
Hi :) I care more about getting in locally because moving is not an option as my husbands business is in Sacramento, and I have a six year old son, and one on the way. So, being close to home is most important. Thankfully we're okay financially which means I can afford to wait and get in somewhere close. I was willing to drive further four years ago, but life goes on and I have to adjust accordingly. I have been spending my time wisely and got my CNA/HHA certification, took nursing math courses, etc... :)

Hi Raine, I was curious about the amount of points you had when you submitted your applications to ARC and SCC. Hope i'm not prying too much.
