Wow, everyone has a story...
My question about qualified is " Once your status change to qualified, does mean The points you submit, they are accepted?" or, is that possible, they did adjust your points, but you still made qualify?

I originally assumed that being "qualified" means that the paperwork is all in-order, however to be placed in the pool you still need to meet the minimum point requirement. According to the previous statistics the minimum point requirement being 70. However, now I don't really know how it works because people have different information on the "qualified" status. Also, I don't know if they do any adjustments on your behave.

I think you're right about being qualified meaning all pre reqs are met and supporting docs are properly submit. I don't think being qualified puts you into the lottery pool. If you look on the ARC nursing statistics for previous semesters it lists "qualified" applicants that have as low as 30 points, so these applicants were obviously not in the lottery pool. Hope that makes sense to everyone :)

So what's the point if you are qualified and only have 50 points? Keeping reapply evey year, and actually don't have chance? ARC take top1/3. I don't remember is SJDC OR ARC who take 90%from top 1/3 and 10% from rest.

SJDC is 90% merit based and 10% lottery

Hi Everyone,

Finally jumping in. This will be my 2nd time applying to ARC. I've purposely kept my mind on other things this go around, last semester I was checking my status continually and stressed myself out so I learned my lesson!

I have a score of 75 and mailed my app a little over a week before the app period ended and received my Status Qualified email on the 16th. Hope we can get our answers next week!

Zcao,I think we will be hearing next week. I only say that because last semester they notified us i believe on the 6th or 7th week and it was a Thursday. Also the application says it takes about 6-8 weeks so I think they will send out notifications next week, but I am still checking my email 5 times a day or more. I just really really really want to get in this time. Praying.

Does any one know if we transfer a Public Speaking class to the Current college, will the transcript show both GPAs the current one added with the one before, or just the current one? My counselors are very not helpful...
