So I heard from a friend that orientation is scheduled on 12/11 and that they notify you 2 weeks prior to that. Last Spring 2014 class found out on 10/31/2014 (which was 5 weeks) and the Fall 2015 class found out on 4/29/2015 (which was 8 weeks). So I am still worried that notifications went out and nobody that is stalking this board got in. I really wish that they would just give us a pre-determined date instead of the unknown. Waiting is hard enough without wondering when it's gonna be.

bbaze, EMT-B, so from reading your post that they notify applicants two weeks before the orientation than we still have plenty of time... This Friday will be the sixth week only... I know its so hard to wait, and every time I see a new comment on this blog I think oh no did I not get in again, but only to find out its not time yet. Waiting is hard but most of the waiting is behind now and at the most we have 2 weeks...

Don't worry, you will hear from someone on this board. Every semester there are people posting and many lurking, and there are always several people that post when they get their acceptance emails. Then everyone starts checking their los rios gmail (while clutching their throat!). Good luck everyone. I'm thinking we will be notified this Friday, the 6th...or by the next.

I had emailed the department about something and they wrote back and added at the end that they will be selecting the class soon and good luck and this was yesterday. So either they already chose and decisions come out this weekend orrrr they are choosing within this week/next week I'm guessing. Good luck to everyone

Hello, I am also applying for ARC and this will be my first semester applying. My points came up to 80 and it says my application is qualified. I have worked as an EMT previously but am not currently working in the medical field. I also have 3 associate degrees so I hope that helps me get accepted. Has anyone heard they are accepted yet? Also does anyone know how many people get accepted each semester?

I found this thread super late, but just wanted to wish everyone the best of luck! This is my first time applying to the Sacramento area, but I am on the waitlist for a school in Redding, CA. ARC is my first choice. Thank you for starting this thread, it's been nice to go through and read everyone's questions/comments (some I've even had myself). I'll post as soon as I receive my e-mail.

I just wanted to wish everyone applying the best of luck and if your not picked this time around be determined! This will be my 3rd time applying at ARC, which has always been my first choice. I hope to see al of you in the Spring as we begin the pursuit of a career in nursing!

I haven't heard yet. I'm praying I hear tomorrow so I can just move on! The waiting is terrible. To think that we still have two more weeks before they have to tell us! But I will keep trying though. Next semester will try for SCC too.
