I hate to add this point, but I think it should be mentioned that today would have been Stephanie Waters' (the nurse) birthday. So horrible.

Several of the nurses in our ER used to work with her (Jana Bishop). They will be missed.

Ironic that just this past week a major news story has come out highlighting one such problem facing civilian air ambulance crews due to our current involvement overseas and why this may be happening more orften.
I, of course, have no idea if this contributed in any way to this particular sad loss, but if you read the full article it states something like the lack of these visual aids contributed to at least >13 of air evac crashes in the one recent year they have current #'s for.
Perhaps this industry may be a victim of unintended consequences?
Interesting read and an issue of great concern to those in the community.
