Happy spring everyone!!! Congrats to all that are acceepted. It was a long winter, but the wait isn't over.

I'm applying for Fall 2011 at OU Southern and i'm EXTREMELY stressed!

2 more weeks until everything is due, all i have to do is get my Essay in there (which i have been working on for months and have changed it multiple times and im just having a crazy time trying to get it right and finish it! I also have to take the COMPASS placement test by ACT ( i have all the classes done it could place you in, but its a requirement by the school)

I've already taken the HESI (got a 93.41% over all and an 850 on critical thinking, the school requires 75% overall and a 750 on critical thinking so i'm hoping those grades are good enough) They also require a 3.0 GPA ( I have a 3.75 GPA )

With this school, as long as everything is in by April 1st at 5pm I will get a letter a few weeks later for an interview, then less then a month after the interview i'll find out if im accepted or not.

I'm extremely paranoid, they only accept around 100 students a year so if i don't get in I have to wait an entire year before applying again!

I think my scores are good enough, but I really don't know, i've been told the Interview is THE most important part of the process, but I have NO clue what to expect! (If anyone knows what usually goes on in the interview I would LOVE to know! They told me that there is usually 6-10 other prospective students in the interview with usually 2-3 people from the nursing program doing the interview, so that scares the crap out of me!

Good luck to everyone! and I really hope I can get in! :D

Wow! That is serious torture having to wait that long for an acceptance letter. I was already denied and put on the waitlist for Lewis and Clark Community College's ADN program about a month ago. Then I got a letter in the mail last Thursday saying I'd been accepted off the waitlist and get to go to my orientation tomorrow. Good luck to everyone who's applying and going through this torture!

Congratulations, motheringheart and ctran!

Thank you! I'm still afraid that they had sent the letter to the wrong person and any days now they will realize that and sent me a letter said they made a mistake. lol

It's Sunday...no stalking the mailman today.... =(

So funny! I was thinking of setting up camp at the end of my driveway when I was waiting for my NLN scores. I thought I had messed up my address in the little bubbles, until I found out that there was a delay at the test scoring center. I waited a whole month for the scores.

Anyway, I am new here. I applied for a local ADN program in January. Our deadline was January 5th. Then we had to take the NLN last month. I studied hard and rocked a composite score of 152. I can't believe that! I made the 99th percentile. SO now I am hanging out waiting for an acceptence letter, hopefully. We were supposed to know by now but with the delay with the NLN scores I am hoping for something by the end of the month.

Congrats to all of you that were accepted! It's a pleasure to meet you all.

Well, I applied to 3 schools. The first one to notify me made me an alternate. (They only accepted 40 out of 350+ that applied, and only 25 on the alternate list). The second letter I got on St. Patty's day. I got ACCEPTED to the most expensive school I applied to! Great I got in, boo that it's to the pricy one lol! My first choice school I'm won't hear from until May, and they only take 120 out of 700+. I'm still hoping I get in one of the other two, but I had to pay a $100 depost today to keep my spot at LMU. LMU only took 40 at the campus I got in...it's crazy how many people are fighting for so few spots. I'm so glad I at least have that letter in my hand! Good luck to everyone still waiting!

I just registered for an A&P class and the syllabus has a proctored test for the final. What is the bio sig to determine your identity? I am just happy to find the class that doesn't cost that much for out of state.

My heart dropped. I had two letters from my school in my mailbox today. They were thin so I knew it was bad news. I opened them. 1) The school had sent me the picture from my awards banquet where I received the scholarship. 2) Was an invitation to be inducted into my school's honor society, Phi Theta Kappa. Great news! I worked so hard this past semester because I didn't want to mess up like I have done before. My acceptance letter will come, I just have to be patient. God is blessing all of us with good news, we just have to have faith. I heard from a friend today that Nursing School orientation is starts June 14 - June 24. They better go ahead and sent thoughs letter out :)

If its requiring bio sig then the proctored exam is no longer a requirement. this is something that edukan started brand new with Session 3 this spring. basically bio sig is where you draw 3 characters..3 numbers...3 letters or a combo and you have to draw the letters/numbers each time they want you to verify your identity. the program makes you do it 3x's when you register...after that only you can verify your identity noone else can draw the numbers/letters the same way you did...its just a safety feature the school is using and it replaces the proctored exam. when you take your final exam you will verify your identity and they will send you a password w/in minutes to get into your exam and then its of course timed.

VannVann2008, I am waiting for my letter too, and the same thing happened to me! I saw the envelope from my school, but it was thick, and I thought "Yay! Good news!!!" But....it was just the invite to Phi Theta Kappa. Then I was bummed out again!!!

Oh well, back to the waiting game!!!
