Active duty navy fy 2016

I just received an email from my recruiter today (I inquired about the status of my "kit") and he said that the packages submitted in November for other Navy programs were just now getting replies. The Navy NC board will be meeting up this month (I had heard it should have happened last week) and answers are taking 2 to 3 weeks. I am anxious to hear the results. I was in the Navy for 8 years as a corpsman and applying as a NICU nurse.

I dont have an answer. Kit is ready for the board, but I'm not expecting any answers until January. If i get word of an upcoming board, I will post the update

I just received an email form my recruiter that stated my application/package was at the board and she was just waiting for results to be released.

Thats good news. What we are now waiting for is the nurse corps board to meet and decide which applicants are the best fit for the Navy's needs.

Hey guys, I'm new to this site and I just found this post. I been reading all of the comments, so to make my story short I also applied for the November 2015 board as well. I didn't hear anything from my medical recruiter (She's also a RN-LCDR) since I submitted my package in early Semptember 2015. She called me back on December 11th and told me that I got selected, but when I found this post and I noted that everyone has not hear anything from their recruiter yet so that kind of making worry. I called her back to comfirm with her if it was real that I got selected and she told me "YES!". I'm so excited and nervouse at the sametime. Good luck to everyone and I hope to see you guys at ODS around March or April.

My packet was not complete for the November board, so i was not elgible. They have not held a board since. I believe that it is what we are waiting on. HOPEFULLY, in January I will get a good look from the nurse corps board.

Congratulations ShunRNBSN!!!! What are you credentialed for??? I am waiting to hear something hopefully in January. My recruiter emailed me Tuesday and said that she talked to the PM and that my package was at board and would know either way in January. Praying for selection!!!

Thank you HM3RNBSN, and I am credentialed for Critical Care Nurse. My recruiter said that it has been slow a moving for the board. Good luck and I hope to see you at ODS.
