Accepted Into The Nursing Program (RN)!

Published

I am so excited! I was waiting on the letter and looking out the door every minute. My Dad had to tell me to calm down. I got the acceptance letter on Saturday. All my hard work paid off. I did 2 years worth of prerequisites in 1 year. I worked hard and I went almost full time one summer and got a 4.0! (which reminds me of how glad I am that I took this summer off...!) I got 1 B my whole freshmen year. I also worked part time, helped with my 5 younger siblings when I could, juggled social life and etc. I know it wont be the same once I start in the nursing program but I do believe that anything is possible and that I will make it through. It was hard sometimes to stay focused. I had a lot of hardships like money for lunch/gas and transportation. I'm glad that I get to start my 2 year journey in the nursing program and then go from there and get my bachelors! I'm not 20 yet and I'm halfway there! That makes me feel so accomplished. I cant wait to start the training of what I've always wanted to do. Besides me getting in, some good friends of mine got into the program also! Now, I will have study buddies :)

Yay, congrats!! Wish I would have started before reaching my twenties, but I had to much going on and I'm only 24 now, and should start nursing at 26 if everything goes well..

Congrats, way to go! Don't be discouraged when your 4.0 goes out the window. It's a different world in nursing school and the grading and thinking is totally different than in the class room.. Very good grades are possible don't don't beat yourself down when you get your second B and first C

Congrats!! I wish I was in your situation but I still have 4 classes left of pre-reqs

You'll be done in no time! :)

Congrats!

I still have some of my pre-reqs left to take. I'm taking 3 classes this summer (bleh). I've completed my freshmen year with a 3.5 GPA and I'm applying to my program in the spring.

Congratulations! Good luck!

Congratulations and welcome to your life never being the same again. :)

Congratulations and Good Luck!

Congrats! Still waiting on my letter, but hopefully it will be arriving soon. I wait every day for the mail and double check it, even though I know the mail is delivered once a day.
