Hi!
I was just wondering if anyone else was waiting around to find out whether or not they got into an accelerated nursing program in ON? Where did you apply and when do people generally hear back from admissions?
Congrats, smkim24!! Are you going to accept? U of T is the only place I applied to so that's where I'll be going. It took a few days before the "Join U of T" page was updated to "accepted". Now I'm anxiously awaiting the letter to arrive in the mail so that I can accept the offer!Ess_bee, there's still lots of time - from U of T at least, til June!! Hang in there. When is your interview at UBC?
Yes it took about a day for the uoft page updated to "Accepted" for me. On the email, it says I have two weeks to accept the offer or they will give my place to somebody else on the waiting list. Your mail hasn't come yet? I was expecting it today, but nothing.
Augh I know..they do send out rejections yeah, but not until June lol. Such a tease of a school! Like "let's give them a glimpse of hope and then crush them 2 months later". Oh, U of T. Did you get accepted anywhere else?
p.s I am still new at this and have only just figured the quote thing out
good luck!!!smkim24 - have you received your letter yet?? mine hasn't come (it's been over a week) and i'm getting antsy!!
i haven't gotten my letter yet, i am also getting very impatient and anxious about it. the ouac website doesn't even show any decision, how can i accept their offer if there's nothing to accept officially? they gave me just two weeks? (but according to the email, it says two weeks after the "official" date of acceptance? what does that mean!!)
hey guys i received an offer from uoft nursing this wk but i am not sure if i am gonna take it since i am done my degree this month and have gotten another grad school offer. not sure if i wanna do another undergrad so i am still debating..haha
congrats! well honestly i think it depends on what grad program you are planning to go into. i also did another post-grad type program after my undergrad, but i feel at least with a bachelor of science in nursing, it's not a completely "useless" undergrad. you get some real usable skills to put on a resume, and more direct clinical experience as opposed to just research in a lab. my first undergrad was a b.sc, that seems to be useless these days in getting any kind of job!
