Just summited my application for the ABSN program at San Marcos for Spring 2020 last night! Thought I'd get a forum started for others who are applying as well instead of stalking all of the old forums. I took the TEAS a few days ago & am just waiting on some final transcripts to be sent to CSUSM.

I emailed an advisor asking if the Fall 2019 cohort was filled up and she said yes that semester was already filled out and that my application is good for one year without having to re-apply

October feels so far away!!! From stalking the past message boards, it seems like the last two years the Spring cohorts have found out on September 18th.

Yes! I’ve heard they say October but we actually find out September

Yes the full program is 6 semesters... 22 months

If you are set on the spring semester, I would study a little more and retake the TEAS. When you get your score they let you know what areas you need to work on specifically and that will help guide your studying. As soon as you get your new score, you can email the PDF to your advisor and they'll update your points (usually they are pretty quick to do this, sometimes the same day).

I have been waiting for September 18th ever since I read this about a month ago; I really hope we hear back tomorrow!

I plan to work but my work schedule is also not flexible. I'm taking a CNA class starting in October, so I'm hoping I can land a flexible CNA job and quit my current job.
