Just summited my application for the ABSN program at San Marcos for Spring 2020 last night! Thought I'd get a forum started for others who are applying as well instead of stalking all of the old forums. I took the TEAS a few days ago & am just waiting on some final transcripts to be sent to CSUSM.

I submitted by application for Fall 2019 but I wasn't able to finish my Chem, so I believe my application will be considered for Spring 2020. How did you do on your teas? I took it and got a 84 and took it again to raise my score and got a 84 again!! So frustrating.

I somehow got a 91% on my TEAS (all of my practice tests were in the low 80s). I reread through each section at least 2x to double check my answers and caught some mistakes this way. Depending on how many points I am given once evaluated, I may consider retaking it, but it would only be to gain another point or two. I am really hoping I won't have to!

Hi guys! I was accepted into the fall cohort but I declined my offer and had my application resubmitted for the spring cohort because I really want to be at the main campus since I live in SD already!

I did the same! What was your point evaluation? Hoping mine is competitive enough!
@alynn120 I'm sure if you were accepted for the fall you will be fine :) It seems like there has been only a slight variation btwn the fall/spring cohorts previously. My points were in the 40s so I feel pretty comfortable about being accepted again.

Hey everyone. I submitted my Cal State application for this program last Thursday. Should I be expecting a response with information to access myCSUSM portal? How long did it take for those of you who submitted already?

I received myCSUSM portal login info 3 days after submitting my application. Once you log in there will be a "to do" list on the right side of the screen. I didn't receive the email with my student # until about month later, but if you call the extended learning office they can supply you with that information - it also makes it easier on their end if you are able to supply that number when you call or email them.

Hi guys!
I'm almost finished with my application, but I have to wait to take the TEAS....I take it on the 31st and SUPER nervous!! Should I go ahead and submit my transcripts at least? or wait until I take the TEAS?

Where do we find the point sheet? I'm on the ABSN site and can't seem to locate it.
Thanks!
