Hi everyone,

I wanted to create this thread for everyone applying to CSUSM's ABSN program for Spring 2024. Hoping we can share our stats & support each other along this journey. This program is my first choice, so I'm praying that I get in but I'm a little worried about my total points ? Not sure what the average has been in the past. 

Pre-Nursing Core GPA: 3.85 (22 pts)

Overall Cumulative GPA: 3.95 (11 pts)

TEAS: 86.7% (8 pts)

Total Points: 41

Hey! I just submitted my application!

Pre-Nursing Core GPA: 4.0 (25 points)

Overall Cumulative GPA: 3.85 (11 points)

TEAS: 92.0% (11 points)

The average point total for Spring 2023 was 36.98, ranging from 31-49. Average pre-nursing GPA was 3.68, cumulative was 3.68, and TEAS was 88.4. Statistics for the last few years are listed here. I think you'll be fine! Best of luck to you! ?

Hi, did you receive your eval worksheet already? Or this is your own computation?

Anyway, I FEEL YOU! This is the only program I've applied to so I really hope I get in as well. Nevertheless, I believe you will get in with 41 points.

I just submitted my application last week. Here's mine:

Pre-Nursing Core GPA:  3.87 (23 points)

Overall Cumulative GPA: 3.68 (9 points)

TEAS: 95.3% (13 points)

Total Points: 45

Not yet! I did my own computation as well. Hoping to hear from them soon tho.

Did you have any AP credit that you used? If so, did you submit the official score report from College Board?

Yes, a TON! A bunch of different ADN and BSN programs! Hby?

CSUSM, Grossmont College, and SDSU! SDSU is the dream, but I'm not sure that one's possible at this point. Grossmont College is my top choice because it's only 3 miles away. Hah!
