  1. Hi, I just got your message but I can't seem to reply to it for some reason so I'll reply here: I ended up picking CSUSM over National for a few reasons. It was a bit cheaper, it had a higher NCLEX pass rate (probably one of the most important factors to me), and they offered preceptor/externship experiences that I don't think National had. I also graduated from the CSU system for my first degree so I was more familiar with it. Overall, I am happy with my choice and wouldn't change it. Professors are hit or miss (I've had a mix of good, okay, and horrible professors) and it can be a little disorganized at time, especially due to COVID (but that's with every nursing program). Nursing professors are needed everywhere so I think regardless of where you go, you'll probably experience these things regardless LOL. Thankfully, none of my clinical rotations have been cancelled. I'm not sure where you live, but CSUSM is partnered with Riverside and San Diego county hospitals for their clinical rotations. I live in San Diego and haven't been placed in Riverside, thankfully. The only thing is that sometimes I do have to drive to the Temecula campus for lab (even though my cohort was accepted to the San Marcos campus), and our lectures are in person some weeks (at the San Marcos campus) and online the other weeks. Basically, the campus you'll be at for lab depends on what classes you're taking that semester-- and it can be a bit of a drive depending on where you live. Things are always changing though. So, if I were you-- I would still choose CSUSM! I've met a lot of nurses at the hospitals who have graduated from the ABSN program at CSUSM so that always gives me some hope and is nice to see LOL
  2. I don't mind. I was accepted to National University at the San Diego campus. Congrats to you! Thank you!
  3. I was admitted this morning with 34 points. My application rolled over from the Spring cycle. I don't think i'll be accepting because I've already committed to another program that starts sooner and is closer to my home. Hopefully one of you can take my spot!
  4. Unfortunately, that is the correct amount.
  5. I had a 3.75 GPA and an 87.3% TEAS. I am a second bachelors student and my healthcare internship/work experience definitely helped during my interview.
  6. I just requested to join the FB group as well!
  7. AHHH I got accepted too!!!!!!! So excited!!!!!!!!
  8. Mine still says “submitted”... I also didn’t get an email saying to check the status in SOAR
  9. I emailed the nursing department about two hours ago to confirm my interview but I didn’t get the automatic reply of “Thank you for contacting the department of nursing” email that I usually get. Did this happen to anyone else?
  10. I also received an interview invitation! So excited
  11. My math/science gpa is 3.75 and my TEAS is 87.3%
  12. I also sent in my app last week. Good luck to everyone!
  13. I emailed my advisor to ask if the class was already full, but got an automatic reply saying they are currently out of office. So maybe that means a third wave hasn't happened?
  14. Thank you! Yes, I also emailed advising and they said the grade would automatically be posted in the Nursing Application since the BST 322 class is an NU class
  15. I will be applying as well. My BST 322 course just ended. Does my final course grade for BST 322 automatically get posted in SOAR in the Nursing Application section? Or do I need to request to have it uploaded?
