Ha! After weeks, months, and what seems like years of studying so much so that my head is going to explode..... I passed my CCRN test on my birthday. I want to say a nenernerner to all those nurses whom I work with that gave me those condescending looks and remarks when a little old telemetry nurse decided to take a critical care test!!!!
I also want to thank all those that supported me, and JennyP and Bassbird for helping me during ANA.
Yeah, I am going to go celebrate.
Happy Birthday and definite congrats on passing that horrid exam. Now keep up those CEU's so you never have to take that monster again! I had a boss that took the test every 3 years. Back in the mid 90's, when I took it, she said NEVER AGAIN!!!
Good work!!!! You should be celebrating!!!!!
Yes, Ms. Purp. I do feel better. In regards to financial issues, it is amazing how quickly things can get better when you lose your wallet. I am in control. I think in the last month I have grown up A LOT!
Thanks to everyone for their support.
Yes, Karen it must have been the cheese steak. That or all those merainge (i can't spell it) that I ate.
Let's just say that I never want to have the feeling that my head is going to explode with all that information when not even a significant percentage was on the test.
:chuckle
HEY MOONSHADEAU, CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!! You are so smart and dedicated-- welcome to the CCRN ranks! I don't remember "helping" you with the studying back in June, though. :) Seems to me I as the one who kept you up too late -- and snored afterwards!
Come work with me, Kid; I'd love to have you working in my unit! So what if it would be about a 2 hour commute each way!!!:roll
Dear Moonshadeau,
Happy Birthday and congrats on passing the CCRN!!!!!!!
WAY TO GO!!!!!!!!
I just started working in a 30 bed SICU/HU. The hospital encourages us to become CCRN's. Laura Gasparis Vonfrolio is coming to my area in December to give a conference on passing the CCRN. I'm gonna wait awhile for that but it is my goal to become a CCRN! My hospital will pay for us to take the exam and they'll pay for the recertification fees! How great is that! There are a LOT of CCRN's that work in my unit. The last hospital I worked at there were only 2 or 3 CCRN's.
Again congrats!
What a great achievement and feeling, savor it. I hope this turns into a roll for you. Good luck has stung you good :-) I can only dream of the accomplishment you have made, as a person just starting RN school. Im a pollwog, whatever that is. lol. I loved reading fun achievement happy words :-)
