well, it's about time to start this thread, i think!! let's get our bearings and see who all is in the same boat in january!
i finish up the first half of a&p with a comprehensive exam on december 13th and then it's right into the physiology portion of the course. we actually are starting special senses this week and next but will only get the first chapter done.
so .... who else is in? when did you take a&p i and how is your course set up? do you have the prof you want and are you looking forward to it?
i will include the sites from the a&p i thread that might be helpful! i will add/subtract as i get a chance to look through them a bit more or if anyone else suggests some good sites.

Hello everyone!!! I am new to this board but wanted to sneak in here as I am taking A&P too. I am doing ok in the class. I have a B so far. I have two more tests to go and as long as I can get at least a C on both of those tests I will maintain my B. I could get an A but I would have to get really high A's on my last two exams and I am just not sure that is possible. I will try but I will also be ok if I end up with a B. Good luck to all of you and I am so happy that I found you all.

You can get the A. Last semester, I had a B in midterm and ended up with an A- at the end. Just think how prettier the A will look on that transcript.
The impossible happened!! My test was postponed until next wednesday which means I have an extra week to study the 150 veins and arteries! I am so relieved!!! I was praying and hoping and wishing class would be cancelled for something and it was. Unfortunately the professor is sick and I am worried about her as she never calls out and never gets sick. So hopefully she will be okay and the test will be a breeze with an extra 7 days to study for it!

I hope she is ok. But, how lucky are you!! I wish our's was postponed. I took it today, wasn't as bad as I thought, I think I pulled and A. We'll see in about a week. Hope midterms are going well for everyone!!
I am so upset. I have gotten an "A" on my first 2 quizzes and first test (on the endocrine system). Last night, I found out I got a 79% of the cardiovascular test. I can't believe it. I spoke with the teacher afterwards and he assured me I still have an A in the class, which is good, but I really thought I knew the material better than that.
We just finished up blood and are now on the immune system, so I hope this goes better.
Hi,First time here. I hope to find a few friends. We have tests after each system in my A and P class. There ends up being alot of tests but there is not so much information to learn. Good luck everyone!

Welcome, Welcome! This is a great site with lots of resources and support. There's nothing like being able to talk to people in the same situation as you, or people who have already been through it that have great advice to share. I'm sure you'll love it here and make tons of friends.

Wow. I guess I'm lucky. None of my teachers count off for spelling. As long as the word you're trying to spell looks pretty similar to the correct one, you still get credit.
